As someone who has always been skinny, it was difficult for me when after a knee injury i gained weight. I was never super heavy but i was definitely heavier than i should be. During 2020 my farewell in college i saw that none of my clothes fit. Then lockdown hit and that was my breaking point, i decided to cut junk and walk 7000 steps each day. My family also got inspired and they started too. I lost 13 kgs in 4 months. Feel do much better mentally and physically. Luckily most of my life i have followed some sort of intermittent ffasting in the sense that i never ate beyond 7 PM at night. But i agree with you that people without health issues can lose weight very quick with right duet and exercise but ppl with PCOS or Thyroid or other lifestyle issues find it really hard to lose weight no matter how much dirt control they do or how much they exercise. But i dont agree with your suggestion of eating many salads, as Indians that is not what we r used to. I ate rice and veggies and everything i generally eat but it worked coz of portion control. Balance is important Your diet should be something you can be consistent with.

I feel that the intermittent fasting is exactly like caloric deficit and if you know anything about weight loss then you would know that its the caloric deficit that actually shows the results when you wish to lose weight. And i hope you inculcate exercise too when you can and that you dont suppress your hunger with cold water and stuff like that. No one should suppress extreme hunger with idk weird ways. For me,i always find you beautiful in whatever size you are and when i watch your content i watch it for nothing but you. Weight is just numbers and i feel when you will be at it you will obviously lose those kgs. I hope whatever is your goal weight you reach that and remain healthy and happy always. Lots of love
