I think we will be seeing more of this angle on the near future from TV broadcasts. It's literally adding another dimension to tennis besides left and right movement, but also height over the net.
every single time daniil makes the cross backhand coming forward, with pace and angle. Lethal strong point, Players should avoid any drop shot on his backhand side if they are not 100% sure to make the point on it.
That's exactly what I noticed. Such consistancy and pace he can return dropshots as an offensive ball. With his incredible movent around the court, you need to play dropshots to perfection against Medvedev.
Evans and Med seem to be good friends. They practiced together and joke around at Indian Wells last year. Medvedev hit many drop shots that Evans got so tired at the end of the practice and complained to Medvedev 😆
Great video m8!! So busy so couldn’t tune into the premiere! Medvedev is an unbelievable player, the way he gets to EVERY single ball in just insane! Soooo happy Rafa got another AO to his array of grand slams, was screaming so much and i still cannot believe he won!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Medvevdev uses the crowd thats against him to eenergize him but can also have a negative impact as you say. It's hard to tell if the crowd has more of a negative or positive impact on Medvedev. Either way, these different characters and personalities is what I believe tennis needs to be more entertaining.
Messi’s shots are so flat and effortlessly powerful. Not that he hits that hard but it barely looks like he hits through the ball yet a lot of winners.
Yeah they didn't count the score right and swapped sides when Medvedev missed in the net so I didn't know what score I should put. Might have been better to make the first point of that gane 0-15 and say they miss counted
In my opinion, Medvevdev. Zverev has a better backhand technically speaking, but somehow medvedev with his obscure backhand makes alot of balls in and deep in the court.
Thanks. It may look that way because the video has no motion blur but it isn't sped up at all. I shoot with a high shutter speed because of the light but also so you can pause the video and look at their technique without any blurriness.
evans didn't use one handed back hand much this set. If the ball came to his back hand he would slice almost 100% of the time. If you keep slicing you just don't win the raly against someone like medvedev. If you don't hit winners you will lose to him 100%. You can notice that almost all evans points were serve&voley or for hand + go to the net. In other words, Medvedev knows that his back hand sucks/evans has no confidence at the shot so he kept throwing the ball at it. If it were a real match that would have been the same strategy. One handed back hands are gorgeous, but a worse shot than the 2H back hand overall imo. 2hbh has just more consistency, have an easier time with low and high balls. All the the 1Hbh has going for it is his cross cort angle and that it is cool.
He's really lanky and his strokes are loopy but he is quite literally the definition of "tennis bot" his court coverage is unlike anything I have ever seen

Med's court craft & understanding of shot angles is insane. Evans was on the defensive even on mundane rally balls!
i wish TV showed behind the player pov more … This is how see how insane they hit.

Precious content! Thank you 😊!
Thanks I appreciate it! 😁
These videos are fantastic--it's a whole different dimension. Thanks for producing them.
You knew I’d be here…
Always a pleasure to see you here

This is awesome! Thanks Liam! (and looks much improved from Nadal vid...great job!)
Fantastic coverage, great filming and quality overall. Thanks for the post Liam. All the blessings.
Cheers,

Thank you for your kind words! All the best. 🎾

Interesting! Medvevdev hit a few amazing dropshots in this video too such as at 7:07. Amazing feel.
thanks for sharing the funny observation. Why else would US open champ train with this clown
@@deathbombs i thought it was Dan Evans, he didn't train with u clown :)
The Meddy Machine
8:26 What a volley return from Medvedev!
Mal sehen ob er bald Nummer 1 werden kann! Ich find ihn super sympathisch :)

Thanks again! My favourite match I've ever watched for sure!
@@LiamApilado same here!
@11:17 is he saying just in or out? Looks very 'in' when played frame by frame
Dan was just yelling at himself for missing the shot
@@LiamApilado is that where the score went wrong? Dan was scored the point.
@@phranger Nah it eas it in the next game where they miss counted a point
this medvedev guy looks good. he should go pro

Oh My God he kicked the ball! LOOK OUT!
YES DANNY!

Messi?
Might want to check the scoring @12:03 :)

so much height on that kick serve
Med needs to develop a net game fast!
Who's got the better backhand: Medvedev or Zverev?
In my opinion, Medvevdev.
Zverev has a better backhand technically speaking, but somehow medvedev with his obscure backhand makes alot of balls in and deep in the court.

who else here to analyse Evans' gameplay ? and not Medvedev's

That’s what people were saying when evans played Djokovic but evans still won
tbh moving the camera is very annoying

Aweful style
No excuses. Choked and choked
that isnt very christ-like of you
We need kyrgios please
I have some great kyrgios footage, stay tuned
Low level I was watching the blond girl
Does Meddy wear a bra?
Not a bra haha. I think its a heart rate monitor. Andy Murray wears the same thing in practice.
