I’m sorry to bother you again. I seen in this video from months ago, you had a DX5C controller, which I’m going to have to buy in the near future for my 2 crawlers. I was wondering if you could tell me if that would also be good for my losi 22s, as far as adjusting throttle control, as far as ramping up speed through exponential, or whatever they call that. I’m not sure if you know what I mean, but, for example, you pull the throttle all the way, and the controller gives you 75% for the first .3 sec., then kicks up to 100%, or something similar to that, however you have it set.??
So the dx5c will work on the 22s, as far as the "ramp". You will do that under the "speed" function in the menu. You will see 100%L and 100%H, you want to lower the H% down to say 5% and then make a pass and see how it feels then adjust up or down from there.

I know it’s not as much adjustability as the Sanwa M17, or some other $500 controller, but at least it’s better than the RTR, which I’m using now. Everything was okay, until I bought a max amps battery, with a high discharge rate…lol, now I’m having trouble with traction…it’s a process, you know.

At the time of this video “2 years ago”, the Losi 22s was known for having issues when the brakes were applied and reverse was still active in the esc settings. Move forward to 2 years later, it doesn’t matter what body you run shark rc body, driver rc, proline camaro, bitty design viper i can go on. If wind gets underneath it’s going to flip regardless! Have a blessed one…
I’ve been going up and down on my piñon gears and steel not been able to lift the nose up.. now don’t get me wrong if your nose up you can’t win but I still like to look and I’m not running anyone right now.. what do you think I should try next.I have a couple videos on my channel maybe you can see something that I’m doing wrong
When you use PL Reactions they require a lot of heat so that wasn’t way to much burnout. This pass at the time was on the Stock M/T Tires which are garbage and needed heat to stick.
My punch rate is at five and I have a 22 Pinion with 87 spur… but I can’t get it to raise the nose up a little…Plus I think the Mickey Thompson’s or not sticky at all

I try and tell people that’s all you have to do is change the pinion and it can be a competitive car.
Which pinion tooth you recommend? I've tried 14T,19T, 21T, 23T, 24T, and 27T.. so far the best one for me is a 19T which gives me a 2.90 @47mph

Can you tune the esc on the rtr model I got a roller and thinking about going with the stock motor and a bigger esc do you think that’s a good idea
Fastest i got with the rtr electronics was 57mph… and you can change the punch and timing in the stock esc

That motor doesn’t get hot
I don’t do multiple hits, you do a couple and let it rest. But i did 3-4 once and temps weren’t high at all…
