Did I miss you showing what you did to the suspension? Telling that it is done but not telling how really does not help. This sounds great in theory but so does the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny.

Thanx from deeeeeep in the Mtns of NY. Very Helpful. Extremely. RC dude for 35 yrs so I have some knowledge but this is my first drag car to date. (Im an onroad touring car type dude) Ran the box stock Losi just to see what it offered, purposely. Watched your vid, also purposely, and went to Insane hookup an hour after watching. I already see where it needs work but you easily got me in the ballpark. Cheers to it

ye unfortunately not to many no prep racers /rc crawler guys etc give our tips & tricks away, otherwise they'll be used against us lol, same for real life 💯🤙🏽🏁..
in this case for the most, all he really did was added shock limiters on the piston inside & out were needed along with a heavier 80wt rear oil & 20 - 40 wt front shock oil I'd predict . to that simply remove your shock springs with shock installed on the car then lift the center of the car until the rear & or front is level & then mark the pistons with a sharpie, once that's done remove shocks get your sharpie measurement from pistons & add limiters as needed. 💯🤙🏽🏁

Can youplease tell me how you gotten the front suspension to drop when the front of the car was lifted. I have the same car and there is no drop when I lift it. Did you cut the springs? Thanks

You have to take the limitors from inside of the shock and change the Oil you can put 30 on the front and 80 on the back
what did you do to get the droop
Hi I bought the same car today and I changed the shock fluid to 20 weight and I can't get it to Droop like that. How did you do that?
I adjusted the limiters inside of the shock

He did all that setup without the battery in it and without taking in to account tire ballooning. 🤔

back your slipper off a bit, youre still just blowing the tires off. disregard weight transfer tuning, most of the fast cars around here are running stiff suspension with barely any travel. carpet drag cars dont even have suspension. if you can stop the tires from blowing off youre golden, maybe try putting some punch control into it aswell to soften that initial hit.

@@calasworld the major chasss tuning part is getting it to hook and go straight, the way your cars currently setup could actually be causing you to be spinning out if youre driving onto the wheelie bar. if your cars hooking and going to one side play with shims or twist your wheelie bar to drive the car straight.
and most importantly, ditch those tires! belted will do wonders alone:)
also back off the slipper in increments of hours on a clock, im sure youll figure it out if its too loose or not lol
What weight fluid you guys used in the shocks? Im having trouble setting that up still too much wheel spin killing my times
start with 70 to 90wt in the rear & 20 to 40 front

Where's the part that you show how to set up the suspension.. this was a before and after video.
Basically all I did was take out the limiters inside of the shock and let the shock go all the way down and all the way up
Spray simple green on your burnout carpet. Crazy hook up

What ET you getting RTR out of the box? Just curious, I have done a little tuning with mine as well.
I didn’t even try it was all over the place after we did suspension work it when 2.6 47 mph
Out of the box was impossible
Put a 25 tooth pinion gear and went 2.71 at 57 mph
Then we put a 23 tooth pinion gear and went 2.59 at 53 mph and that’s where I’m at now

The whole point of this video is pointless because you don’t explain out you made the shocks move the way they are I get ppl don’t wanna give away secrets but don’t make a video like this if your not willing to actually help other ppl basically the guys just getting into the hobby and trying to learn how to do all this
Hello Robert. This is not a how to video. This video is about my whole experience with Jack . I have plenty of how to do videos in my channel. What we did to the suspension is so simple that l didn’t feel like I needed to explain the entire process, it is not that complicated, it’s a toy. Take the shock apart and you are going to see the problem with the limiters inside. I’m sure you can figure it out and thank you for watching and supporting my channel👍👍👍
Yea I was thinking exact thing for my car. Suspension set up out the box is worthless. Why even waste time doing that? Just let me build the shocks myself

Ummm. Your setup will be worthless without the battery installed. As you have to run a battery to even move. Always make adjustments with the battery installed. 🙄

All these videos about suspension travel make me laugh. Most high speed dragsters top fuel included have no suspension they get what they need from tire flex and chassis flex I applied that to my RC car and straight has never been easier.
