I just had someone reply to one of my comments on a different video when I made a quote to Matthew 7:1, the judge not bible verse. They stated that I was doing the same thing and was a hypocrite. My explanation was very similar to this, judgement and criticism are very different. One is based on what I feel, the other is based on what THEIR actions. I thought it was a decent explanation, but I kind of like this one more. Because the person I was disappointed in and was giving criticism to, I actually used to respect.

I watch several cave and mine channels. If you mean sharp as in cutting you and your equipment, I would think crystal formations in once-dry caves would be one of the sharper things to encounter. Assuming money and training were no problem, I would love to dive some ancient mines. I saw a video with an air filled portion of a Roman mine, copper I think, but I think some areas were still flooded. Often the combination of oxygen free water and toxic ore preserves wood and other artifacts. There is the possibility of seeing timber construction, tools, clothing, even footprints from thousands of years ago. That would be exciting enough to take a big measured and minimized risk to see.
I'm not sure what it is exactly but seeing personal signs of people from long ago makes me feel something I really like but can't name. A mine Channel from Wales has gone into centuries old (and likely older) dry(ish) mines, and you can still see thumb and finger prints, boot prints and boots of someone who may have seen Shakespeare introduce one of his new plays, or perhaps his entire family line went extinct from plague, or maybe he was remarkable for having been the most unremarkable person to have ever lived. A relative eyeblink in time and that could have been me, or he could be writing this now.

Everyone here has to appreciate the fact that there were people who don't have qualifications, or testing, but only some experience exploring not just caves, but mines and even open water. Almost everyone in the past is a pioneer and explorer, who literally only had STORIES, and accounts either from others, or are making first contact with the new places. And from those who experienced first hand the reality of that new location or even new creatures survive long enough to record them and tell them back to their buddies at mainstream science academia, who then codify the findings as recorded knowledge. Appreciate that some really don't have any background knowledge at all.
    Expertise and qualifications /+/ reality.

Sean takes criticism well. He seems like a really nice dude who is a bit too old school for the modern world while also needing to grow up a bit. He used to be way more crazy and childish and has been doing some serious growing up in recent years so that is good to see. Can be fun to see him interact with other people, he jokes but backs down if he senses dislike, talks big in a non-serious way while being very humble when it comes down to it. Less fun to listen to him talk about his opinions...

Huh, weird seeing Strickland on this channel. But yeah, he's known for being strangely calm in fights, even against champions. Even when he won the title he didn't look like he was breathing hard, even though he was fighting a high-level kickboxer for 25 minutes.

People are going to criticize you guys no matter what you say or what your opinion is of something, always. The best plan is always just to say what you truthfully think, and in doing so it is much easier to withstand the criticism because you know you are/were completely sincere in the content/information/opinions you are putting out there.

im always surprised how higgledy piggledy real mines are.. and how awkward it is to get around in them.. i went to one in potosi bolivia... even some mines that are really big and had people mining in them for decades or centuries just have these wonky uneven, awkward crawl spaces everywhere where you hit your head all the time and can get lost easy and fall in holes... they are often super dangerous and claustrophobic and hot and sweaty and unpleasant experiences (im talking dry ones) - whenever you see mines in movies or video games you can walk everywhere and they are nicely planned out with a nice left turn or a gentle slop or plenty of head room etc.. i dunno if you guys ever wanna explore a dry cave but if you do you should do a collaboration with that ghost town living guy... hes pretty cool... youd definitely need some rope climbing training though. hes in cerro gordo california
