The first few bars when the bass player comes in are a master class of great bass playing. Note the staccato note in the third bar there. It shows how the bass player really controls the feel of the song. Same goes for the rest of the song and obviously the whole band is amazing.

@@PsyphaX09 The 80s and 90s were the last two decades of the golden era of music, then it went right down the toilet in the 2000s. The budgets were higher in the 80s and 90s, plus the industry was filled with real musicians unlike today. Very sad to see what's become of the music industry these days. Now it's all about producing cheap crap that's full of nothing but vulgarities. I think the reason I love the sweet, sentimental love ballads is because they're wholesome. There's nothing vulgar in the lyrics. Instead the lyrics are like cleverly written poetry and to me it's beautiful.
@@BreannaMae So true! Imagine churning out songs today with just 4 chords repeating over and over again with crappy and ultra vulgar lyrics. I'm just glad though that there's still the likes of Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, and Ed Sheeran who actually still make great music. Also, I still got my metal which is still providing me with amazing songs all the time.

Wow! The vocals are so sweet and delicious ear candy. The mix is so good. Excellent job musicians. Such a pleasure to watch and listen too. HSCC has so much talent. I ❤ this cover band so much. I performed with many musicians for 33 years. I'm retired now and love listening to this excellent cover band. It reminds me of all the gigs and songs we use to play in the 80's. I look forward to every Friday to hear another excellent cover.
