I got choked up once I saw your little girls huddled together in the basement. Such a brave bunch of ladies they are - just like their Mama! Thank you Lord Jesus for your protection over your precious ones such as these 💛🙏🏼
That was a frightening ordeal! That’s 2 big tornadoes in Omaha in 49 years for me. Thank you Lord for no loss of life. I’m so glad you and your girls were safe!

We experienced this in 2020 in Lake Charles Louisiana. We lost our home to hurricane Laura...Tornadoes ripped our roof off. Our insurance did not cover all our damages. We had to file bankruptcy. We relocated to Arkansas. Then a tornado hit here last year. Thank you Jesus we were not hit again. But somehow I know even through this loss we have grown our faith that God is Good no matter what. We live in a small RV borrowed from a friend. I am hurting for these communities. I am Praying for them. It is so difficult to see goodness but God is good❤ Praying for these major losses. So thankful Heaven is eternal. No more storms there! ❤

You are a beautiful wife and mother. God always goes before us through provision and without. I am encouraged by your content and I am thankful you share your faith. I stand on God's promise he said he is giving us a new home so his timing is perfect. You have such a greatful heart in Christ and that speaks volumes and you are so great at budgeting and thrifting. I think insurance needs to change their stance on tornados and microburst. We knew we were having a horrible storm in 2019 . You could see nothing outside our windows. A neighbor called and said all of our pine trees were on his driveway. He said they needed to be cleared. It was late at night. My husband needed both his knees replaced. Thankfully the neighbor’s son cleared his dad’s driveway into the night. The next Dayi walked our five acres. It was utter destruction. We had a couple leaks in the house from damage and our garage was hit on the roof. The insurance guy came out. He did not have to give us a penny but gave us enough to fix the garage roof and get a tree company to do some work. I have cages and screws in my back. My husband with his bad knees and me with my bad back worked and worked until we had it under control. .pGod had to give us the strength to do that. I hope no more tornados in your area. ❤❤❤❤

I live in elkhorn in the neighborhood that got hit. My house is in the clip you showed. One thing I can say is as a community out here we've helped each other and we are all pulling together to begin the cleanup and get back to a new normal. I've never seen anything like this in my 40 years living in Nebraska. Seeing humanity and how people come together after something like this brings me tears and no words to express how much it means. The tornado that hit elkhorn was a mile wide. It had multiple vertexes and was on the ground for over 30 miles.
Praise the Lord that you and your girls were safe through such devastating tornadoes! I was so happy that you posted about your experience. Watched this news with a heavy heart from North of the border and began to pray. 🇨🇦🙏🏼Still praying that help comes quickly to all those affected. My husband is a hydro lineman & he gets called to US sometimes. If he gets the call, I know he’ll go. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.

We went to Elkhorn, NE to help clean up today and to Minden, IA on Sunday. It's horrific. In Elkhorn, we helped a 75 yr old lady who clung onto her washing machine as her home was thrown to the other side of the road. Tornados are not to be messed with. Seeing what I've seen in the past few days, it is a miracle there were not any fatalities. I recognized some of the spots in the photos you showed at the end, especially the one with the red car. I walked right past there today and took a picture of it myself. Thank God no one was killed. The tornado that destroyed Minden started in the Glenwood area, where I live, but it did not touch down until it started moving north. I'm so glad your family is safe❤

Thankful you are safe. My son’s home was destroyed on Dec 9, 2023 in Clarksville TN. He and his family were not at home, thank God, they are just now putting their life back together. Praying for all in your community. It will take time.❤

Well Done & Condolences to those who lost everything but I hope their was no Serious Injury & if so I hope they Recover as soon as possible.

I will be Candid, I am not overly religious, I believe in my own way that which I feel.
Believe me I do have a belief & as a Pilot I certainly have probably said more than once, Oh my & yes God.
I think this came clear during a near miss when I was flying into An Airport in the USA with 300 odd passengers on board, was cleared to land only to see an Aircraft pop out onto the runway that we were about to touch down on.
Obviously I said a few expletives & we carried out a Go Round as it's known, But a few seconds more & I really could not tell you if we would have been able to abort the landing & go round.
I figure someone was looking over my shoulder on the day & thankfully no harm came of it, But it does make you realise just how precious life is & that which we hold dear to us is as well.
On that note once again I think this was a brilliant video on what is without a doubt something which could be listed as one of the world's natural wonders but unfortunately it comes & it goes leaving in its wake sometimes Death & Certainly Destruction of that we can't even comprehend.
Such Storms as these can do so much damage in such a short amount of time.
I wish yourself & your Community a Speedy & Healthy Recovery from this Sad Event.
As mentioned above When Mother Nature Gets Angry She Can Certainly Deliver Pure Hell On Earth.
