    At the 43 minute mark Rick and Eli do a great job exploring how someone can be awake and in the relative world act unskillfully...Really helpful...

    @andthereisntone Both sides of the volume, or just one side? If you turn your computer volume up, does that solve it?

    @shodashi108 I agree that some teachers seem rather cold and aloof, and dismiss human misery as "illusion" happening to "no one", but there are many examples of teachers who talk about consciousness, but who also throw themselves into massive humanitarian efforts. Amma, the "hugging saint" is an case in point.

    @JackHighlander Perhaps you could email him through his website and ask that question. I'd be interested in his answer as well, although my LSD days are 40+ years behind me.

    Fascinating. Thanks. By the way, the volume seems rather low on the 3 videos I've watched so far.

    Eli gives the greatest lesson by being himself: GENTLENESS. :o)

    So knowledge can be increased but not diminished? Will meth addiction diminish it? Serial killing?

  • @TadRapidly
    @TadRapidly 11 лет назад

    Knowledge is an experience of self-radiant existence (enlightenment). An enlightened individual will see the absurdity in serial killing or any other type of killing. lol (as if "serial" killing is worse than other kinds). lol This Knowledge is all-encompassing so it itself cannot be diminished. The effect that this knowledge has on one's life is directly proportional to one's inclination to hold it in one's consciousness, which we call "gratitude".

    his realization cured his own misery. That's how it works. There's no guilt in that, is there? What are you demanding of this one man?

    Eli Jaxon Bear is not someone who has been fully enlightened like Mooji or Eckahrt Tolle. Fully enlightened people, who have had a complete and total shift in consciousness no longer are swayed by temptations or desires or by innappropriate and immoral actions. All of their actions are guided by the Absolute, God or the One, and their selves are immersed in that Oneness. An enlightened person is one who actually is an expression of the Absloute. They are above desires of this mundane world. The fact that Eli Jaxon-Bear had sex and a relationship with another women behind his wife's back, the fact that he has lied to his wife, the fact that he has betrayed everyone and admits it, the fact that he admits that he has made a big mistake, and the fact that his desires have led him onto this path, can only mean one thing, he knows nothing about what it is to be fully enlightened and has never attained enlightenment and that he is not at all enlightened person. He can call himself a guru if he wants to, but as far as I am concerned, he is full of shit. He may be on the path towards enlightenment in the sense that that is what he wants; he may be someone who seeks light, but he is definitely not someone who has full illumination! I am not saying that illumined beings are perfect, but, in relation to us they are vey close to perfection because enlightnement means that you are no longer swayed by the ego or by the desires of the world. You heart is so filled with joy that no one, no woman, no sex, no physical relationship can ever be compared to the joy of realization with the Absolute. So, if a person like this idiot, Eli claims that these things are normal mistakes and part of a learning process, I can assure you that it only means that he may be a guru for you fools, but he is definitely not a person who has gained permanent and true enlightenment and is not by any means a person who has attained! So, as far as I am concerned, Eli is not someone who has attained permanent illumination or cosmic consciousness.

    @BuddhaAtTheGasPump Why do these masters & gurus not concentrate their "love" on those that most need it? Why do they never critique the nature of our self-interest that has created (for e.g.) the monetary system - a system we have allowed to become the real god of this world? All the hugging in the world will not stop child trafficking - but providing the resources so that no one is reduced to comit such an act is possible - what other priority is as important?

    the Knowledge one holds is the Knowledge one holds. Jerking off is jerking off. Jerking off does not diminish the Knowledge one holds. lol

    Too bad his realizations do not produce any practical solutions for the misery faced by millions of people and animals throughout the planet. Consider we have been scammed, lied to, & misdirected by our desire for enlightenment and ascension. Consider that everything you know is wrong & that consciousness is indeed one big fat CON designed to keep us from creating any practical solutions for living in equality. Equality should be our priority; for the children who suffer in real time.

    Look deeply and you'll see this man has no wisdom to offer--his ego is oppressively large, and he's proven his spiritual and mental fragility through sexual abuse and exploitation of his students. For those interested in Buddhism or Zen, check out a Thich Nhat Hanh dharma talk video, widely available on RUclips. Dopey, cowardly Eli is nothing but a fool.

    Eli is still in denial and excusatory rationalizations---what a selfish EGO. Like--was it ok to impose this "oops my bad" crap on Gangaji? And neither of you understands that being Awake is like being pregnant---ya just aren't a little pregnant you either are or aren't! All an act to get adulation and money. Call him on it Rick!
