- Nothing like a morning with a quick limit of redfish! Since we already had a bunch of trout from the days before I decided to do catch and release.. Windy and choppy, but the high tide brought some redfish in shallow! They can’t resist seeing that paddle tail action!!
Setup: Waterloo Salty Mag 7’0 Medium/Moderate Fast, Shimano Miravel 2500.

Awesome video, exactly what I was looking for, I like to wade fish and pretty much anything inshore. Would you recommend a 3000 size miravel for inshore fishing? Also what size rod are you using?
@@av1an 3000 will be perfect, all of my rods are 7’ but I’m 6’7” so I like having a tall rod. Most people like having a 6’9” wading.
Great video! Just subscribed your channel.
How you like the reel so far? I just ordered 2000SHG one mainly for Rainbow Trout. What about casting distance, smoothness, drag, friction, versatility etc. Would be glad if you reply, thank you in advance!
Thank you for subscribing! I honestly love it, I have two now on different setups that are 2500HG. It’s honestly great for everything you asked about, I notice casting distance is a little less than the Stradics that I have but I mean very little 5-10 ft difference. Very smooth reel and the drag is great on whatever I set it too. I pulled out one of my biggest reds on New Year’s Day and it handled it like a champ. I’m sure you will have no problem at all with 2000 for the rainbow trout.
@@J-RodFishing Can`t wait! I`ll come back with an update once I get my first Rainbow!
@@odintheveratyr7568heck yeah! Let me know!
