Robert your Dad was an amazing man it seems he could put his hands to anything or at least try, we miss him so much but thankfully his legacy lives on in you, thank you for keeping this dream alive.
Wow, Steve Irwin actually carved a crocodile statue himself! Looks just like Deinosuchus. May all of these beautiful statues, especially that one, stand for generations!🐊
That would be awsome... I loved how he put a dinosaur overlooking the crib in the nursery he & his wonderful brother inlaw made. I'd love that. Kinda thing I'd do. Would love those dinosaurs in my garden too.. 😁❤💙💜🐸🐊🦖🦕🐢🦎🐸🐊🦖🦕🐲
Robert you and Bindi are truly a chip off the old block God bless you all. I thank your mother and your family for all the great work you're doing for our animals and our planet.💙💙💙
I kind of like how you guys weren't sugar coating anything when you showed us a dinosaur with its face twisted in horror as it's eaten. I actually think that's funny how casual it was.
That's so cool!! Some very talented people. I like the fact that you're allowed to climb on them. So often you see signs stating "do not climb on the exhibits" 😁😁😁👍👍👍
A genuine Thankyou.. there was 5 on the mock rock team during my time there ending in 2021, Shame it ended the way it did for me when mandates rolled in. Cam the Man the Myth Legend, I'm thankful everyday to have called him my boss, a Mentor and years later still a close friend.

Those sculptures are great! Kudos to the art development team! Always amazed by everything at the zoo. Great job showcasing the stuctures, Robert! Keep up the good work!
Wow! Those are incredible. I loved the last one. I had no idea that Steve was so creative as well. The world still misses him and I definitely can understand how his family misses him too. I lost my dad as well when I was a kid.❤️
Pretty Kool! I have Loved Dinosaurs since I was a young girl! I used to find Trilobites & shells in my drivewayas a young girl. That started my love of Dinosaurs, Archaeology, Geology & Paleontology!
Love supporting you ❤️ I live in NSW and grew up watching Steve and then I then started watching bindis show. Absolutely love you guys and will support 100% Can't wait to come back and visit.
They're all very awesome! I remember a few years ago having my photo taken with the spinosaurus ^^ although sadly most of them are very inaccurate, they look amazing though :)
i Miss Steve but its so great you guys are keeping his dream alive . and congrads to Bindi and Chandler on the baby so don't spoil her Uncle Robert (winks) lol and keep up the great work you guys do
You're an inspiration to so many young Robert! One day hope to make to Australia Zoo. As for "aesthetics", your notion of this word is terribly interesting...if your nephews' nursery, outfitted with a huge Dino by you & Chandler !)., is any indication! Hahahah!
Going to this zoo would be amazing they are doing a great job I will try my hardest to go there possible try to work there if I can. Don't stop helping animals!
Before even knew about australia zoo I loved dinosaurs. I was fascinated by dinosaurs form when I was 3. As a matter of fact the reason I love animals was because I loved dinosaurs.
I wish I lived in Queensland so I could go to Australia Zoo every day but I would have to fly there. I am your biggest fan. I also liked Roberts baby cloths more the chandlers but that’s just me. I was Steve Irwin’s biggest fan but I now that he has passed I’m still really sad but I still follow the Irwin fam. I loved the croc show when I went to the zoo. But the only thing was that in the Australian reptile part was there wasn’t any bearded dragons or others
My favorite sculptures I see are the Sarcosuchus, Deinosuchus, Parasaurolophus & Spinosaurus. 3:30 I see the Australian Water Dragons “members of the Iguana family” are free to come & go on the Spinosaur sculpture. At least this Sailbacked Croc head protecting its eggs isn’t going to attack these Iguana cousins. Do you have Sculptures of a Triceratops & a T.Rex AKA Tyrannosaurus Rex around as well?
Many of us still remember the T-rex as a huge carnivore, and you still doesn't wanna come across it, but T-rex has a length maybe up to 12-13 meter, the spinosaur measures around 12 to 18 meters
The little one in the wetlands (I think it's an ankylosaurus) scares me every time! No matter how often I visit the zoo, coming round that corner it just seems to jump out 🤣
@@twonumber22 sure but what I mentioned before, the chicken or any bird be a descendant of the tyrannosaurus if it never survived to evolve into modern birds
@@mlgodzilla4206 I don't think any modern bird, or anything else alive today, is a descendant of the tyrannosaurus, although I'm not sure. I'm not that knowledgeable on it. I believe the modern birds are descended from a different dinosaur that's "related" to the tyrannosaurus.
Did you know the Australia Zoo art department built all of these sculptures by hand! How amazing!
They are all so talent! They are so pretty. I love them ❤
That's so cool!
Wow! By hand? They look so realistic!
Hi robert!
Awesome! They sure do look amazing!
Dinosaurs seem like such a perfect fit for the Irwins and this zoo. The Spinosaurus was an inspired choice. They should add a Baryonyx too.
Suchomimis would also be fitting
There's also Irritator, Siamosaurus, Ichthyovenator, Postosuchus, Desmatosuchus, Metriorhynchus, Kaprosuchus, Notosuchus, Boverisuchus, Simosuchus, etc...
Argentavis, sabertooth or maybe my favorite, Moschops. Haha
It can use an update since a tail of a Spinosaurus in 2020.
I hope someday I can come to Australia and come to the zoo! That would be a dream. Hope you guys have a wonderful rest of your week!!
You'll love Australia 🇦🇺

If I had a dinosaur for my birthday it's gonna be an baby ankylosaur
My brother used to be obsessed with dinosaurs when he was little. If he still liked them, I’m sure he would love this!
I love them to this day.

I've heard on a dinosaur documentary on RUclips, that the closest living relative of Tyrannosaurus rex is the chicken.
Or any other bird. Using a chicken is probably the worst example since it is the result of artificial selection.
How could it be a descendant if it’s ancestor never survived the mass extinction
@@mlgodzilla4206 Closest relative doesn't necessarily mean a descendant. I'm related to my uncle but I'm not one of his descendants.
