They aren’t forcing people to eat it. They are just taking advantage of our laziness. Too lazy to look into the food prep/ingredients, too lazy to cook from real ingredients, too lazy to wait and wanting everything now. Now that they have so much of the market, people in some areas are forced due to availability, cost and ignorance.

My father was a Columbia trained economist and the leader of a national dairy farmers organization and discovered that the USDA was even then - in the MID 50s - primarily serving the interests of the food industry not farmers. It has gotten much worse over my lifetime.
It has been happening for a very long time, pushing agricultural production moving us away from ranching families regenerative grasslands and nutrient dense rudiment animals is destroying our health and our land.

I had this addiction. I couldn't control myself. Even just stopping for gas I had to buy something. Just over 2 months carnivore and all I crave is meat. Now this weight needs to start shedding faster.

I really can't think of any good reason for sugar. Other then eating fruit off the tree. But buying sugar when you think of it there is no good reason for having it other being in nature.

I get sugar is bad in the way that is consumed today. There are different kinds of sugar or ways to consume it. The same happens when people talk about meat and they are only thinking about cheap ultra processed hotdogs. Meat is great, meat is bad, you see what I'm talking about.
Natural sources of sugar (save honey) come with fiber. That's the way our bodies are meant to handle it. Our bodies are incapable of dealing with the massive amounts of fructose that are added to processed foods while simultaneously having no fiber with them. Fructose need to be seen as enemy #1 and just as much as a poison as alcohol.
This is criminal. How can we talk about this so calmly? Horrific.

have a big question, for those of us who cannot find, or afford Grass fed beef/meat .. Are we harming oirselves more than the benifits, by buying normal supermarket beef ? Im aware of antibiotics and hormones in beef which is standard practice, I have found meat (Greece) that is not grass fed, but is antibiotic and hormone free ? Is it still worth embracing carnivore if this is the only source of beef available? Many thanks regards from Greece 🇬🇷
Yes it is worth it. Eating plants is a LOT worse than eating cheaper meat. The plants are no less of a problem than cheap meat, they wre worse.

I love beef but eating the same thing and only that 1 thing will get you tired of eating that 1 thing very quickly.
I eat more than just beef, but the simplicity of carnivore really grows on you. Also you enjoy the few foods you are eating more once you've gotten over the addiction to sugar/processed garbage.
