    It’s amazing for me to see the VakTrak for the first time on the RUclips video. However, there is gonna be a lot of trash that people won’t be carrying about putting it in the trashcan that you just dumping it all of a sudden on tracks and then it could cause more delays in every subway station, especially the Subway stations that are so dirty in Hoyt Schmerons street and chambers Street that they need to upgrade its cleanliness.

    You know what would help as well? Platform screen doors. Then litter does not get onto the tracks at all to start.

    • @xeno8630
      @xeno8630 10 дней назад +2

      The problem with that is there is train cars with different lengths in the mta, like 75 feet, and 60 feet. Also that'd cost a lot of money

    • @Awesome_Aasim
      @Awesome_Aasim 10 дней назад +1

      @@xeno8630 You know what else costs a lot of money? The healthcare costs that result when someone inevitably slips onto the tracks. The losses that result when debris on the track catches fire and damages train cars. Every modern metro system, even renovated parts of the London Underground, has platform screen doors. Money is not everything; highways cost a lot of money to maintain, yet we still maintain them because they allow goods and people to move at high speeds between cities.

    • @CraigFThompson
      @CraigFThompson 9 дней назад

      Yeah, right; that'd be MORE equipment needing periodic maintenance....

      If you team drive a truck of freight non stop. NC to Cali is 2 days bro.....😂

    • @Awesome_Aasim
      @Awesome_Aasim 7 дней назад

      @@FirstnameLastname-tp4zw Most freight does not drive between NC and Cali. And if it is, it is more likely to be transported by rail as opposed to by highway. Most freight travels on journeys like San Francisco to LA, or New York to Boston, or DC to Philadelphia, or Toronto to Montreal, or Dallas to Houston, or any of the other dozens of city pairs with heavy commerce. These are the perfect city pairs for high speed rail.
