A Bumpy Start in South Africa - Highs and Lows Overlanding // EP.62

We are finally in South Africa, but what a bumpy start. The highs and lows of overlanding compressed in one week.
We left off at the Fish River Canyon, pointing our compass south. A lot of rough roads where laying ahead. But all too soon the car starts smelling bad. Milk everywhere, a nightmare in every car. A package broke and leaked for two days into the car below furniture and floors. We had to take drastic action.
We managed to get it under control just in time to meet Olga on Tour and Faramund on their first lag driving north up the west coast. Glad you made it home safely guys!
Our plan was to surf as much as possible before we head to Cape Town, and we had a couple of days with nice swell around Lambert's Bay. Nice weather empty lineups, beautiful!
But for the first time on this trip, the Bluelandy crossed our plans. Sending us to Cape Town much earlier than planned.
