Today we talk about childhood vs adulthood. In this video I take different aspects of childhood and adulthood to determine which is truly better. Childhood or Adulthood. This video is similar to the videos I've made in the past about growing up in the 2000s and 2010s

Childhood is basically a free trial of life
Facts 😭
Burdie you should've pinned me
It's a 18 year free trial before you have to pay to continue living normally
Fr
@@burdieofficial the free trial ends when you turn 18
I'm 27 so I'm in that magical age range where I still have enough energy to do "kid" stuff if I want to, there's tons of outdoor activities around here for every season but since I own my own home, I can play video games at 3 AM if I want. I just wake up super early, turn on the Wii or PS3, and have fun. A lot of the stuff like cleaning the house, making meals, paying bills, once you do it enough it just becomes second nature. I don't have any kids (unsure if I'm going to, but if it happens, it happens). I think I lucked out finding two jobs that I enjoy, my summer job as a tour guide I don't even consider a job, I'm being paid to be the annoying know it all kid I used to be for free. Now people pay to listen to me. I almost feel like I'm getting away with making money for goofing off. I think the part of adulthood that sucks that nobody ever talks about is when you wake up at 1 AM from a nightmare, you can't rely on the comfort that your parents are there, it's just you in that big scary house, the moon making shadows in the bedroom, the wind rustling the trees. That's the one part of adulthood I don't like
yea i am 28 and i am having a great time i have my own house now i go outside every day i am fit enough to just jump over ditches instead of using the bridge. my dad used to do that with me but he can't do that anymore. or when i was walking somewhere with my friend and there was something weird on top of a hill and i just climbed it like it was nothing and found an abandoned construction site .
Im 27 and have no energy
My childhood was awesome. Once I entered adulthood 3 years ago, I loved it. My parents were strict and overprotective of me and my siblings, but glad they stopped once I became an adult.

tbh both are kinda bad in childhood you are restricted from doing a lot of stuff but in adult hood you have a lot of responsibilities
That's why you live in the present

don't even lie, school is still bad, like, doin 10 assignments and goin to extra classes and having extra assignments from the extra classes.

@@something-hs1uionce you’re 18, they literally can’t force you to stay anymore I don’t think.
I think early adulthood is best 18-26 combines lower amount of worries but with the new freedoms you don’t have to usually worry about your house family but you can enjoy being in your prime
We can include 27-28 in that, too. I'm 27 and this age has been the best year of my life overall. 24-25 were dreadful for me but only because of Covid. So maybe I'm living out my mid-20s in my late 20s.
Especially considering the new start you get once you graduate high school and leave that hell
In your childhood, you wish to become an adult but then when you're in your adulthood, you wish you were a child again.

Childhood: No freedom
Adulthood: Even LESS freedom
in polish it says "no free house" and it makes it funnier
Acctually not really you have more freedom as an adult, You just have more responsibilities now
@@KylerHope1629 facts adulthood is very underrated people are not thinking about the restriction kids have
but your parents control your life and you need to be older age to do other things driving for example
OMG THANK YOU I HATE CHILDHOOD BC OF ALL THE RESTRICTIONS
As a teenager, I’m both old and young enough to realize that Neither childhood nor adulthood are what it’s cracked up to be.
Just try your best to be you and enjoy what you can when you can despite challenges and limitations
Same fr
As a teenager, I believe childhood is a paradise taken for granted. Reaching adulthood, I would even look upon my teenage years fondly.
@@MZIH while each age has its pros and cons that the other often overlooks, there definitely are perks of the average childhood that can’t be denied. The innocence and lack of exposure to the realities of the world was definitely worth most of the limitations and lack of certain freedoms.

Childhood is the free trial of life, with resrctions, and adulthood is the actual game where it is pay to win but you do almost whatever you want. I really can't choose which is better.
Adulthood is harder but more fulfilling and rewarding long run.get ur money up and itll be a blast.
For me, childhood is the best thing ever. I enjoyed buying toys with my parents, I played with my best friends, going on a vacation, playing on a playhouse in malls, playing arcades, and many more.

@user-dx9bg2rr6z
Yess! I 1000000000% AGREE WITH YOU!!!!
Nooo. Adulthood lost!!! This is terrible!!
The score should be 0-5 not 3-2
The reason why Adulthood should win is that as a child, you have no rights, no freedom, no job, no car, etc... but as a adult you can do whatever you want!! Without being told what to do!!! And also as a adult you have rights, freedom, a car, JOB, and more!!!
As a child, you have to go to school, and school sucks!! sitting in a room listening to something I don't care about!!! and you don't get paid for it!!
As a adult, you get cash. And you can actually do a job you want to do and get money for it!
So I think ADULTHOOD should win
Who's on my side
#adulthoodshouldwin
before i watch this video i wanna say my perspective as a kid (14ys) i think adulthood will be harder bc of work but schools shit to so i think none of them are actually better bc everything has their own advantages and disadvantages.

For all of you just going into adulthood, work as many hours as you can and also keep away from caffeine your own energy is sufficient trust me caffeine won’t get you anywhere, don’t eat out too much you’ll become aware of the health benefits of that and save you some money. :’)
my childhood was really boring, and I never went out to play or have friends
Looking back at my childhood, I can't help but feel like it was a rollercoaster ride. I remember having a hard time figuring out my identity from a very young age. I thought I was either a boy or an animal, despite being a girl. And then, to make things even more interesting, I went through a phase where I believed I was an animal trapped in a human body. It lasted from grades 3 to 5, and I laugh now thinking about it.
But then, around 5th and 6th grade, I went through a serious emo phase. My parents, who were already super strict about technology and clothing, didn't approve of my choices. They hated anything related to the LGBTQIA+ community or anything that wasn't considered "American." It was tough, but I managed to get through it and finally found my footing.
Now, as I look towards my future, I'm filled with excitement. I'm planning to move to Japan, learn Japanese and Korean, and maybe even Chinese. My ultimate goal is to become a veterinarian. I can't wait to see what the future holds!
I think too many people glorify one or the other, when they each have their respective strengths and weaknesses
Facts, that’s how I try to look at it
I WAS WAITING I WAS JUST ABOUT TO RE-WATCH YOUR GROWING UP IN THE 2010 / 2000 VIDEOS AND YOU POSTED THIS
Ok?
Child hood is not “ITS AMAZING BEST THING EVER” some kids have stuff like: Mental health problems, shitty parents, bullying, favoritism, and more! But adulthood is still worse
I'll be honest, the freedom is really the only thing I'm looking forward to in adulthood, my back is already hurting at age 12!
Same I'm 15 but I'm stuck in the most miserable excuse for a town you can imagine.
Which means: A: no one to talk to and form friendships with
B: nothing to do other than use digital technology.
The problem: muscular weakness/laziness
Atrophied social skills and bad people.
Although I have a nice house, family, and other stuff. I'm missing half the stuff I need and being provided the other half excellently.
The real problem: I'm driven to move out as soon as possible as a means of counteracting that Deprivation of social life or physical activity or any hapiness that originates from something not involving a metallic object
My family is severely internet addicted and sedentary too.
But then corporations make everything worse by creating more issues which is a whole paragraph of explaining.
Childhood is better my mom just say to me to clean only our bed im good with cleaning the bed
Me: I want to have a happy childhood a-
German education system which is based on pure stress and demoralization: let me introduce myself
Teacher don’t get paid in the summer, they don’t get paid a lot either, the have to get summer jobs, they have to “work” due the summer to get the school year ready… dang people should not be mean to them.

Happiness in the child cannot be compared to the happiness you get from adulthood. Like try to remember some days where you get a new toy, and thinking about how joyful it would be to play with it tomorrow and that kind of joyous moments are rare in adulthood.. Like the happiness was so much more happier and livelier than adulthood
when you grow up you gotta worry about....life LOL😭

Being a child doesn’t guarantee time. For example, this is my Wednesday: get ready for school (8:30 and some had it worse with having school at 8:00), school (9:00 am to 3:30 pm), band (4:00 to 5:00), guitar lessons (5:00 to 5:30), drum lessons (5:30 to 6:00), Sometimes chess club, (6:00 to whenever it closes). I’m lucky to be able to do this but it is kinda a long day. Edit: these are not supposed to be time signatures pls ignore the blue.
