PERSONAL LOG ON INFINITY REALM, HOST OF TEN-FORWARD - LYRENA I have been travelling with this fascinating crew for several years now, having been rescued by them literally from the grips of “death.” I lost my entire family in one swoop, and saw the entire population of my Planet, burnt in flames. To this day I still have horrific nightmares, shrilling and screeching, the traumatizing agony and there was nothing I could do to save them. So many questions looped in my energetic mind, anyone would ask “why me, why did I survive?" All alone on a destructive, anger fuelled Planet, I look out of this starship’s glazed windows onto this starry infinite landscape, and truly bless whoever is out there - and thank them for this persistent, humane and loving crew. I love being part of this mammoth “family” when we laugh or shed tears, we are never alone, we share in the grief and pain collectively, being the host of this magnificent space, they come and go, I make sure to spend time with all my friends as they sit for a much needed rest, enquiring about their families, their day and very often they seek advice. Ten-Forward is their personal haven to express their hidden pain, and I provide an empathic heart and ear. These conversations stay between the two participants.
