Millennia ago, a highly advanced civilization, on the brink of self-destruction, had hidden an artifact of unimaginable power in this remote corner of the cosmos. A weapon capable of annihilating entire galaxies, an energy so potent it could reshape reality itself. The Guardian of Nothingness had been designed to completely isolate the artifact, to bury it beneath layers of time and space. The three luminous mountains were not sensors, but cosmic beacons, signs that marked the Guardian's position, a silent invitation to those brave or foolish enough to seek the secret hidden within. The surrounding space was an absolute void, a black abyss dotted with billions of stars, each a solitary sun in its planetary system. The silence was overwhelming, broken only by the faint whisper of cosmic radiation. The Guardian of Nothingness, with its pulsating lights, was an anomaly, an island of artificiality in an ocean of natural chaos.

Guided by a faint radio signal, Alex donned his spacesuit and ventured into the base's corridors. It was an underground structure, carved into the ice, a labyrinth of tunnels and rooms. After days of exploration, he found what he was looking for: a control room where a group of scientists and engineers worked tirelessly to keep the base alive. They were pioneers, the first to colonize this icy planet, an ambitious mission to explore the boundaries of the solar system. Welcomed with caution, Alex soon earned their trust. With his engineering knowledge, he helped improve the base's systems and make it even more self-sufficient. In return, he learned to grow plants in hydroponic greenhouses, recycle water, and generate geothermal energy. The underground base became their new home. They built common areas, laboratories, and even a small greenhouse where they grew herbs to add a touch of familiarity to their sterile environment. The radio signal Alex had picked up became a beacon, attracting more and more scientists and engineers eager to participate in this space adventure. Over time, the base expanded, digging deeper and deeper into the ice. Subsequent generations, born and raised in this cold and inhospitable environment, developed a deep connection to their icy planet.
