One of the only covers where the intro is played in perfect pitch. For some reason this song can sound out of tune even when the guitar is tuned right.
It's the D standard tuning they play everything in. For some reason it is SO HARD to get it to sound exactly right. That full step down changes something and idk what it is 😂
Let me chip in here. Most of the players just tune the whole thing down to D without checking if the guitar is still set up right. You have to adjust the guitar for the exact octave tempering when tuning down. If you leave that step out, your guitar will be just fine on the lower frets but the more you go up on the neck, the more your guitar will be out of tune. Another reason is that you‘d need thicker strings when tuning to something with lower string tension, otherwise your finger pressure can easily press a tone out of tune because the strings are to soft at that exact spot. So either he did the two steps mentioned above or he just used a drop-pedal which let‘s you tune down without all the hassle. I hope I could help you guys with that question.
@@flowryan5829 I definitely agree with you. I have my strat in d standard and the tremelo has to be reset, if I don't change the action the strings can rattle, and the bottom string up pitches.
