It's super difficult to do, if not impossible. The main vocal frequencies usually sit in the middle so actually isolating them is often impossible because you have to include everything around it. If only more bands released stems.

Seriously, a retro videogame with tunes like this would be sweet and further spread the word of the legacy.
Dang. Now you've got my imagination running wild with this idea. I spent many hours playing the Moonwalker arcade game and found it quite entertaining. Just imagining the special attacks that the playable character could have is wild enough. Pardon me while I rant about the vision of a GhostWalker game based on the Moonwalker platform- Rather than saving kids from gangsters, we'd be saving kids from pedophile priests and politicians. One could start the game as a Nameless Ghoul with a special attack amounting to summoning it's mentor, Papa Nihil (or other Papas), in a large, spirit form (maybe even all shaky like the video for Year Zero, and that chorus could play during the special attack [Hail Satan! Archangeloooooooooooo!!!!!] since the duration is about right. Then players work their way up through the ranks of the Ghost Clergy, and when playing as Cardinal (who would dress pretty much the same as how MJ does in the og game) the special move could summon something different, like maybe a swarm of Nameless Ghoul underlings, then eventually as Papa whose special move could be summoning Satan or all of the previous Papas, zombies and/or demons reaching up from the ground and dragging bad guys into the flames, or even casting lightning from his hands, sith style, like near the end of the Pinnacle and the Pit video (although I think the hand/sith lightning would make a cool animation for how he frees children form their restraints, bringing light to the people rather than using it as an attack). Instead of a spotlight appearing around the character during the special attack, the Sigil of Baphomet or, more appropriately and for branding purposes, the Ghost Sigil could magically light up on the ground around the character as the corresponding animations transpire. Normal attack- hand to hand combat when Ghoul, Square Hammer when Cardinal, Staff when Papa. Distance/Projectile attacks- exploding Globus Crucigers when Ghoul, A beam from the light eye when Cardinal, swarms of bats when Papa. Rather than transforming into a robot when rescuing Bubbles the chimp, we could rescue other bandmates or clergy and then transform into...what? Something super cool, but i don't know what. A giant Funko Pop Papa E3? A fusion specific to the character's current form and the other character rescued? Satan? A gnarly beast? I suppose a robot would be fine, too. What would you imagine for this? Rather than transforming into a rocket ship and blasting off to escape the end explosion, he could just launch as himself and fly away (again, like the end of the Pinnacle and the Pit video). I recently became one and went on a binge over the course of this year after several recommendations by youtube to watch Squared Hammer finally had me accepting that I should click it. From there I dove into the world of songs and styles. Is there a conversation board somewhere that fans can interact with the band or be heard by their recommending agents? I'd love to bring the thoughts forward, or perhaps if you can with your ideals towards it, include some of the fan songs and my thoughts inspired by them in turn that sparked this high ideal. I could really see the possibility they'd make such a venture, and to have my handle show up in a random thanks in the credits would be delicious. I'm also a gamer since 1984 as a child and up till about 2 years ago the day after christmas was an arcade manager of 16 years. Also, as I lead an online army of sorts I gave advise in leadership in being, and being myself, The Wall That Walks. And I was reminded of such by a certain set of lyrics. "I am all eyes, I am all ears, I am the Wall, and I'm watching you fall. Because Faith is mine." I do believe I got that right.
Had Ghost come out big in the 80s they would probably be revered as one of the best metal bands of all time. But since we live in this era of hatefulness all they get is disrespect because they’re doing things different than the average metal bands.
All they get? It's just a loud minority of people who can't accept that their underground bands they have built their indentity on being a fan of aren't making it big while Ghost is. Ghost is one of the biggest bands around these days and the most succesful of the last decade in metal and hard rock.

this is so fucking cool considering im mainly a metalhead and a ghost fan but also listen to small amounts of lofi and this type of music so to see an actually GOOD synth style version of a ghost song is really awesome, liked and subbed
