Love the lure videos but great to see bait fishing return! Lol I would be in heaven if ever I found myself saying best not to fish a spot in fear of catching another codling! Fishing on the UK south east coast can really suck at times!

I myself would enjoy watching you cook some of these fish you catch, in fact I am surprised you dont take some kind of portable cooker/stove and make yourself an outside meal, the best kind. My brother and I for years tried to include a meal when we went fishing for steelhead on the Oregon coast. Anyway I would enjoy it and I have a feeling so would you, good way to pass the time between some of the waiting.
Maybe in the future! I don't get a lot of views from them. And when I'm fishing, I'm making videos, so not much for cooking. Thanks Brother 😁👌

I always thought catching Haddock from the shore with bait a bit special but here you are catching you are catching them on jigs. That`s really special!

Fantastic catching haddock on lures. We have been fishinin spots that are supposed to have haddock but never hooked up. Next time we'll downsize the hooks and see if that does the trick. Our time in Norway is coming to a close but we'll be back in the autumn for more fun. And btw I'm a fishing sister :)
Hi Diane. There is one thing about haddock, I have noticed over the years. They love to feed around the mouths of rivers, I think the fine silt holds the prey that they like! If they were where you were fishing! I think you would have got lots of bites, but no fish. Better lock next time, thanks sister 😁👌
We've had a fantastic time and caught loads of cod and a few coalies - just wondered why we hadn't had any haddock. Using mostly 5.0 assist hooks on jigs or savage gear sandeels and those are a bit big too. We get loads of hits but I thought those might be small coalies (greedy little buggers going after lures as big as they are 😂)
@Diane-NewNomads the sandals are probably not a great idea! . And your hooks were definitely too big. 30 or 40 gram jig, size 2 to 1 hooks. Mouths are kind of awkward and point down. Sounds like you had a great time 👌

Ive been using artificial lures for over a year now, but I'm getting gear to use bait, which is what I'm used to naturally, we'll see how it goes. Apparently lots of cod and flat fish in my area

Hi mate thanks for the reply. Did a but shore fishing but recently got a few boat set ups and been going on charter trips off the east coast of scotland and really enjoying it. Normally a salmon and sea trout angler myself but really looking into to getting into more sea fishing. Always fancied going to Norway it just looks awesome.
Hi bud. If you look in the description of the video you will find a link, to the fishing lodge where I am staying. The package is for 5 or 6 people I believe, and a little bit more expensive than most. Everything is inclusive except food and diesel. So check it out, see if you like it. The guy that runs the place his name is Chris, you fly into Bødo, and get a ferry from there to the lodge more or less. Or maybe picked up at the airport I'm not sure. The fishing in this area is some of the finest in Norway.👌
Chest mounted camera would be cool. So you can see the reeling and jiging better. Like the GT fishing guys.
Hi Bo. That is a much talked about debate amongst RUclipsrs. I think you need to try it to understand the different problems involved. One problem is, you need to be able to see where you're putting your feet, but if you stand on one spot it's not a problem. But I move around a lot, so it's not for me. Thanks Brother 😁👌

Nice to see the rod tips bouncing again Billy, I've often wondered about the colour difference in mussels, haddock ,chips and peas nice, definitely hail the 525 the reels I started casting with and still have them for rougher ground

Remenber as a kid when fishing with my grandfather, he told me that the black spot on each side was where god hold his fingers when he made the haddock.

I see that you often wear gloves whilst fishing in Norway. Can you make any recommendations about good gloves you've used. I've been thinking about a pair of winter gloves. I've looked at Abu, Imax and Savage Gear. I'm not sure if a few exposed fingers is good or bad?

I have never fished the Norfolk coat, but it can't be much worse, than most places. But here they are everywhere, but finding the good ones is fun😁 thanks Brother 👍😁
