- My first official week at Oxford University - this is how it went!

The portrait is of Sir Arthur Norrington, after whom the Norrington Room (the room you were in) was named. He also devised the Norrington Table. You can read about him on Wikipedia.

He also did Lit Hum which I guess is kinda cool (and probably not surprising given the nature of the Norrington Room and the decade when he studied I guess too). Thanks so much!!
@@Sam.Kramer For most of Blackwells' existence, the Classics section was in the old part of the bookshop, on the first floor at the front, and you could admire the view of the History of Science Museum and the Sheldonian while choosing your books. Then when they put the cafe in a few years ago they moved Classics up one floor. It seemed like a demotion. I didn't know that Classics is now in the Norrington Room. It must have moved there only recently.
It will be good if you can make a video about what you eat in a day as a student or where you eat in Oxford/what college food is like. Thanks.
Great idea, I'll defo do this at some point. Would be fun to record every meal for a day or week or something. Thanks for the suggestion!!

That's a brilliant idea, I'll definitely make a separate whole video on that. I guess I could also do videos with other friends from other 'interesting' backgrounds eg. Underrepresented groups
