Best looking truck out there! Storm grey is an awesome color. I wish I had over a 100k to spend on a truck! One thing I wish GM would do In their HD trucks. Is a "bigger" inverter in the bed. 400w just doesn't cut it, especially with the Duramax. You should be able to put the truck in a "Generator mode" an run all kinds of equipment. Or a house if the power goes out.
Yep they think charging a phone in the bed is useful.

Yes, most people buying an HD truck are towing but not ALL. Some want more payload, think offroad truck campers or loaded overlanders. Or 3 dirtbikes + fuel + camping + gear + all the people for several days at a remote offroad area, a bigger bed and payload is nice to have.

Finally GM is catching up to F and D. All they need to do now is give the 6.6 GAS direct AND PORT injection. Keep it pushrod? Sure ( and get rid of DFM on the 6.2/5.3 or at least allow us a button to disable it ) Anywhos, they're gettin' there with the HDs...

I like how it looks.
I like it, but I would prefer a very basic off-road-version with options - they don't let us by what we want. I don't need leather, electric seats, lane assist and all these modern crap. Just give me an off-road-capable truck bis a good payload to carry my truck camper.
Pretty sure skid plate options are available for basic trim levels. You might be able to get the locker installed at the dealer or go aftermarket. Not sure how hard you'd want to go with a slide-in camper in the back.

It is beautiful, and I do like it, but I am sorry the Ford F-250 Tremor is just as nice insaide and out, close to if not less money. It also have a Torsen front end, higher payload and higher towing numbers (I think).

The electronic package that makes the infotainment screen work is complete junk. They have all kinds of issues with connectivity, data transfer, streaming, and updates. Many people with bricked systems leaving truck useless. If you go in any of the forums for these 22+ trucks you'll see all the complaints.
I've got a 22 ZR2 1500, a 23 Tahoe, and will pick up an HD ZR2 today. All have crap electronics and only cost $270k to own.
The motors, transmissions, and suspension are great tho!

Love the videos and content but I have to ask who was the guy in the passenger seat? Did he work for GM? He said maybe three words haha 😂 If he was with you then maybe incorporate some type of interaction or conversation. Even if he work for GM it was awkward. Just like my opinion man

The 5.3 is pretty good but I heard the 6.2 isn’t as good and 6.6 gas or diesel they are both good

The F350 Tremor high output is still king. The at4x, looks good, but still no front limited slip, cant get it in 3500hd, weak tie rods/cv joints/hub bearing, seats are not comfortable like the Fords (especially platinum), ford has much more power (car n driver got 5.5 seconds tremor high output, fastest diesel they ever tested). The 10 speed in the gm/chevy is actually a ford designed and built transmission with an allison badge slapped on. In addition, if you got the f350 tremor xlt high output with no sunroof, you'll have a whopping 4224 of payload!! Gm at4x/chevy zr2 doesnt come close

So i just came back from Moab and did some serious off roading and camping. So tell me why it's not for real off roaders? I've had 3 jeeps still have a 2021 and I've been wheelin for over 30 yrs. My Zr2 is damn good! How would you even know? Do you own one? Have you been off road in one? Can afford one? I guessing NO on all 3 questions
Yeah we use them in the oilpatch daily with mud up to the running boards. They do fine. 😂

Destroys that Ford Tremor & Dodge PW. Not even in the same realm now.
It's not a serious offroad machine if it doesn't have a front locker. PW still the only one fully locked on real axles, with a factory winch.
@jeep… PW also has disconnectable front sway bar. Solid front axle. Almost 15 inches of ground clearance. PW is way more capable off road.
