When ure playing bard, u can do the portal 20gold before the buy, the portal will not close in that time. And make sure to click to enter the portal before buying. Basically this will reduce the cd of the portal in a few seconds, which means you'll have the portal sooner when getting in to the lane.
@@mylynguyen6512 you just right click on portal entrance and that should make your champion ride it, but you got to have in mind that Bard's portal is one way in, once you go through you can't go in from its exit.
I really like Hector's way of explaining things and his perspective of the game, it opens up so many new ideas I never thought of before. I would really like to see Hector reviewing his Defeats and explaining what was good, what could have been done better and what to look out for when replaying your games in order to not repeat the same mistakes all over again. Also, another thing you could try is to play against a champion you don't know at all (like when they release a new champ, don't read about it, just queue up and try to win), because I noticed a lot of low elo players don't know the champs they are against. While the simple answer would be to try them all at least in practice tool, not everyone does that.
One tip I heard to justify this from a big coach I used to watch: "league is a racing game, and if you don't understand that then you don't understand the game." Every little second counts, using movement abilities to get to lane faster, using them (time applicable of course) to gank or roam faster, etc. It's the small things that always make huge HUGE differences.
Efficiency is at the core of every single video game. The guy who gets most things done in the least amount of time will always have the upper hand. Wave management and trading are built on efficiency too. Getting the most mileage out of the tools you have at your disposal is the ultimate goal in League. Many people have internalized these concepts over the years and at this point you never actively think about them, but for new players, they might revolutionize their experience. My gf always asks me how my friends and I always have more damage at the end of our arams than her. The simple answer I give her every time is that we just see more opportunities to deal damage without taking damage ourselves, which leads to us being able to cast an ability 3 or 4 times when she only thought one of those situations would be good to use it. That way, you gain leads you wouldnt have had otherwise, leading to damage potential you wouldnt have if you hadn't gotten more out of the previous minutes of gameplay. The better you are at leveraging advantages, the more you will see yourself in advantageous positions.
I'm really bad at League and most games where time management is important. However I am particularly obsessed at min maxing in games where time is not a factor, like turn based 4X games. I take *FOREVER* to complete my turns because I want to optimize every single detail of my game plan. Brains are weird, man.
I noticed the refill pot sell undo trick that was shown in the Nemesis clip quite some time ago actually; seeing Solarbacca do this relatively often and I also thought it was weirdly genius at the time. And unlike the 0.1 second timesave of walking out of base this one actually saves you clicking back to refil your potions and coming out again (as well as regenning your HP faster if you base on low HP) so it's probably closer to a ~0.5 second timesave? (or almost 2-3 second timesave compared to not using refil potions in base at all). Still insignificant but potentially important for cheater recalls/catching a bouncing back wave a tiny bit faster to not lose 1CS
Hmm how does the mana regen work in the fountain? - Both vid get instantly the mana amount from lostchapter when they buy it. - % missing mana is also not the reason, if the mana regen in the fountain was based on missing % mana, then the vid where lost chapter is bought after 5s would even have a higher average of missing % mana. Only thing i can think about is that the mana regen from the fountain is based on your total max. mana. So when you instantly increase your total max mana it will also increase the ammount of regen from the start. Please correct me if i'm wrong!
This is crazy I always did it the way you advise it but as I was seeing everyone stand outside, buy then move, I figured I was doing something wrong so I changed. Thank you, I’ll be going back to my old ways !
- Use your mobility spell (Dash) to get faster to lane (instantly to reduce CD). - When Homeguard is active, Movementspeed boosts should only be used when the movement speed starts to decay (because of diminishing returns in MS stat) - When going to lane and your jungler does gromp (grump?) autoattack it when you have Fleet Footwork (For movementspeed) or even throw a spell to help your jungler - When you are about to recall and you have a refillable potion left, use it (so you have like 50hp less to be healed in fountain)

Sometimes you just need to know it's possible to do, and you will start doing it unconsciously when you are ready. When I was learning the game and playing with a friend, he told me to come back to lane, and I was like "wait, I need this item!", and he told me to just path to lane and buy it while walking out of the shop. And at that time, I was too clumsy with the shop to do that - I would have been out of the shop by the time I had the item ready to click. But now, I do it without even thinking.

I tend to stand closer to the edge of fountain though and when I'm 2-3 gold away I issue a movement towards wherever I'm planning to path and then buy the item. I think moving to the back of the shop or just standing near the center would be way too challenging for me to predict the exact movement-speed-to-gold-gain-to-distance-from-edge-of-fountain to buy items and move out of base as efficiently.

Are probably never going to reach a level where thinking about the game state is more important that these time saving tips and b. "you're not gonna do this and instantly go 80% winrate" I mean I already hover 60-70% in ranked so maybe (tbf I haven't played ranked in a couple years?) lol
but... u can just buy while going to the edge. if you're fast, when u get there u can just keep moving, if you're slow, you wouln't be able to buy anyway (cuz you would have left the store) and would have to go back (wasting time). conclusion: not worth it . Edit:. I mean, not worth it if you're not playing at worlds
i do all of these XD look at anyone of my replays and i always try to minmax the time i was testing the refilable one and thought u cant undo after using it
So you are telling me little things add up, and you should optimize tempo just like any other skill like farming/trading etc? Crazy. Sarcasm off: it looks so obvious, yet so many players dont do it because they are lazy. So this video has its right to exist and hopefully opens the eyes of my future laners, when they waste 15 sec of tempo with a poor recall, slow shopping and a poor TP back to lane, costing me objectives I could have easily contested every 2nd game.
And then I forgot to buy a control... _again_ And just noticed I built and bought towards Stormrazor instead of Statik Shivv And had to swap my trinket And the AD pot looked at me with lonely eyes And And And... Welcome to "Whose Elo is it anyway?" Where good teammates don't exist and the MMR is made up
And at this point I’ll accept I’ll never be that good at leage my brain can not think of every little detail that would lead to a won team fight every single game
To be fair, you don't have to, the brain works in heuristics, so as long as you think of it once and then incorporate it into your gameplay as a habit, you'll be able to do it even when not thinking about it

meanwhile half the people in my games are guarding the towers at level 1
Actually interesting and helpful video on this channel
Most valuable resource is time.
My team mates stay extra 30s to watch tiktoks, what kind of video do I have to send them to improve?
Hector is a treasure.
i do all of these XD look at anyone of my replays and i always try to minmax the time i was testing the refilable one and thought u cant undo after using it
this might be the best video you have ever made lol
So you are telling me little things add up, and you should optimize tempo just like any other skill like farming/trading etc? Crazy.
Sarcasm off: it looks so obvious, yet so many players dont do it because they are lazy. So this video has its right to exist and hopefully opens the eyes of my future laners, when they waste 15 sec of tempo with a poor recall, slow shopping and a poor TP back to lane, costing me objectives I could have easily contested every 2nd game.
And here im stuck worrying about my cs 🤣
there is any site i can found runes or matchup knowledge etc. for every champ ?
What's funny, even tho I'm iron, this is exactly what I needed. Brb in a month, about be gold or something
That is best skill capped guide
And then I forgot to buy a control... _again_
And just noticed I built and bought towards Stormrazor instead of Statik Shivv
And had to swap my trinket
And the AD pot looked at me with lonely eyes
And
And
And...
Welcome to "Whose Elo is it anyway?" Where good teammates don't exist and the MMR is made up
i do that all the time for years not bc pros do it just simply do it bc then i dont have to reclick to move again
Your Graves thing could be put into "short" youtube / tik tok video.
True in League. True in life in general.
And at this point I’ll accept I’ll never be that good at leage my brain can not think of every little detail that would lead to a won team fight every single game
To be fair, you don't have to, the brain works in heuristics, so as long as you think of it once and then incorporate it into your gameplay as a habit, you'll be able to do it even when not thinking about it
I would legit subscribe to skillcapped if they post a weekly video of Hector losing his fucking mind in low elo
I have been doing that first tip for over a decade now... I thought it was just being neurotic 😂
I always take greedy recalls and get punished for it, nothing new here :D
Thank You.
Cus ezreal ult predict?
hector i want to bear your children!
the moral of this story is that high ELO players are unhinged
I always flash to get into a safe recall range to save myself 1 or 2 seconds
Good video! Gimme more!!!
Hell naaaah , i dont care enough about LoL!
Hector is goated
i got the point thanks :D
Ah yes, I am indeed to dumb for this game
Yeah I'm hard stuck
