  • Tomorrow will be a week since my new carbon fiber violin handmade by Mezzo-Forte company (Germany) was finally in my hands. Despite this, it’s hard to believe that this has finally become a reality.
It's amazing how noble this instrument sounds. Besides, I fell in love from the very beginning with this futuristic design, where there is nothing superfluous.
I cannot wait for the first time I take this violin on the stage of the festival Yiddish Summer Weimar. So exited!

I watch this video from time to time with plans on purchasing this instrument. It's just so beautiful. What has your experience been like with the instrument from an acoustical perspective compared to your wooden violin so far? And is the "MF" on the violin a sticker?

cameronmd80 Thanks for your question! Despite the fact that I own a mid-18th century Italian violin made in Brescia, I can say that this instrument surprised me very much. This violin has a very powerful sound, and you have absolutely no feeling that you are playing an instrument made of composite materials. I’m very pleased with this violin and highly recommend it.
The company logo (MF) is not a sticker.
