Get Brighter Whites With Less Ink In DTF and DTG Using Single Pass Highlight White Underbase

In this video we will give a general overview of underbase and highlight white, and then look at how to set up single pass underbase and highlight white in the Rip.
Traditionally, Underbase and highlight white printing is often used with DTG and UV printers using layers.
On these printers, you first print the underbase layer with White, then you rewind the printer and print the colors with highlight white.
With that configuration, a second pass to print more white ink is not possible.
Highlight white prints only on white pixels and helps boost the white.
Now with single pass Highlight White and underbase, Fiery's patent pending technology, provides the whitest whites, most vibrant colors and reduces print time without the need for a second pass.

Hi there I am trying to adjust the white layer under color and it does not give me an option… Like how you explain able to click on any of those options given on the tab white and color options on the colored layer what can I do please help thanks

Hi . Thx for the video. I own a Prestige A4 and running DigitalFactory Cadlink software. My biggest pain point is getting that nice layer of white ink on top of the printed image the way your print finished in the video. I get runny ink images at times , not enough white and i am wasting film and ink constantly as a result. Underbase vs underbase and highlight , max ink strength etc i have adjusted and still cant seem to get it right. No videos out there really touch on my specific issue and offer resolution . Can you help?

Sorry if this doesn't help. Points I am thinking about for your issue are: shaking the inks and not letting them settle? Adjust the amount of white (if white is runny) being laid down? Are you heating your prints before powder is applied? I usually run them over a ~50 degrees Celsius plate BEFORE it hits the powder. This may not work for you and sorry again, if this doesn't help...
