It's an amazing synth. Had mine since January. I still can't believe it was so cheap. I learned how to use it quite well, but this tutorial has taught me so much I didn't know. Thankyou so much for sharing
Excelent! The best explanation I've ever found about this synth. The LFO applied to OSC is well explained. The mixer I hadn't understood well the first time I tried to make a patch, now is clear. The parameter Trig now is clear. Thanks a lot!!!
Will be getting one of these soon, maybe 2, ive heard that you can use 2 and detune them against each other for an even bigger sound, looking forward to getting some much needed info from this video😊
Good stuff. I want one now. I love micro synths. It looks super fiddle-able. I can sit and mess with any of the Monotrons forever, this looks a little more in depth for the same $
Excellent tutorial. Very small but powerful synth. I agree on both the envelope attack is a bit slow and also saving patch is easy to lose your changes by accidentally turning knob before you press it. Would be nice to see Behringer make a larger version like the model D/solina size format, maybe with a few more features and controls.
Very useful guide. I was hoping they could add a init patch reset option for a quick start. But know that I understand the workflow, it's not that hard to get a simple patch going.
As you're clearly very good at this would you recommend this or the pro vs mini? I'm not interested in midi it'll have to be a stand alone to play anywhere. Thanks
What are you using to send both power and MIDI data to the USB port of the synth? I canceled my pre-order when I realized how much less portable it is than it seems once you factor in all of the other gear needed to power it and play it.
I think there are many ways. Computer is obvious. Then i think you can use usb midi hub that will conect to a keyboard or download app for android or ios that have midi routing posibility but youll need usb powered hub or special usb cable that splits the other end to two: data and power. Just bought jt so I didnt had time to check all of that. Any way I hope this helps.
@@patrickm.4469 too bad they didnt done that in the begening. I tried the option to connect it to a phone and tablet with different midi routing programs and nothing recognised behri, so sadly only pc or usb midi host remains :/

Thanks. I bought one and I need to learn how to work it. I appreciate it!

Thanks!
No, thank you for the coffee :)
Thanks for this. It's very helpful! 🫶💖

You won't be disappointed. It's sound is a beast
Thank you so much for the lfo explanation!
Any time!
Very good.

Thanks for this, I love this little synth and like learning more about it.
It's so crazy you can buy a synth this powerful for $50
Thanks.
How do you connect your keyboard to the JT 4000? I have no keyboard that provides both power to the synth and MIDI info.
Hi I plan to buy one. I do not understand synth. I play wood wind and strings.
What programs can work with this?
Do I need connect a recorder to this?
Thank you
I was really interested in the Hold & Chord section, but couldn't find it on my synth. Any ideas?
I think that you need to update ur synth, I saw "Electro / Magnetic" video talking about it
As you're clearly very good at this would you recommend this or the pro vs mini? I'm not interested in midi it'll have to be a stand alone to play anywhere. Thanks
Does this require any other equipment besides headphones or speakers? 🎧
Veringer sounds like a good psychopath name.
You have the BEST reviewtorials!

Yeah, that's all too clunky. I just want keyboard+synth. Shame they didn't just put a battery compartment in it like the Volcas do.
@@chrisgadd you can get pro vs mini it has midi port and no hassle. Got that to. I think its more powerfull.
They are working on an updated model with a trs midi port...it'll probably be a few months before they release it

What is the output bitrate or sample rate?
NTS-1's OSCs are 192kbps (not the FX).
I wish there was a sinewave form in the LFO
Any reason one should get this over the Pro VS Mini?
Buy both for the price of a dinner😊
does it master tune out of 440hz?
He shows you how to tune the oscillators in the oscillator section
how to record audio from jt 4000 ?
The damn keyboard barely works
Crazy how they didn't made the filter have hi-pass. Most JP8000 sounds are made with hi-pass.
