If you're in the friendzone you need to have some self respect and leave that friendship. If the person who put you in the friendzone (which they are allowed to do) is an actual friend then they should realize and not take issue with it. If they take issue with it then they're essentially saying is that they want the benefits of you being their friend regardless of the emotional pain you will feel in the process. In that case you have a new reason to ditch them; they're not really your friend. :)
