I made these last night as a practice run because I’m cooking Thanksgiving dinner for my boyfriend, his Mom and his Grandmother’s sister. I have tried several recipes but this one here is by far the best!!! I literally used every seasoning used. I even bought his seasoning, Kimmi’s and I have his flour! I even cook it low and slow as he suggested! These wings were perfectly seasoned and falling off the bone as soon as I cut into it. I couldn’t believe it!!!!!! I was skeptical about the lemon but there was strong lemon taste as I feared. I’m going to cook these two more times to get my gravy better. I even ate the skin because it has so much flavor. I usually never eat the skin. Thank you so much Matt! My boyfriend may propose after this dinner!🤣🤣🤣 I will follow you Greens, Candied yams, Honey Baked Ham and Potato Salad recipes as well. God bless you for simplifying these recipes!!!😍😍 😍
CORRECTION TYPO: There was NO strong lemon taste. The lemon added a nice balance. I didn’t even taste lemon. I was afraid they would over power the taste. Please y’all buy that AP Seasoning and Kimmi’s Seasoning!!
Sazon - is on of my secret ingredients - I use for Fried Rice- put it in the rice cooker with the rice - let it set for day in the fridge for 24 hours before stir frying and - Pow!!!!!!!!!!! 👍👊
I saw your question about what tips can help the basic home chef and I feel like the way you season food and use different seasonings and less salt is really important because when you're cooking sometimes the salt comes out too much and you can't take it out but the seasonings you can really play with. I had some Indian food the other day and the stew was cooked down and it was so salty I couldn't eat it. It's hard to eat out these days. It seems like everything has so much salt for flavor when you should be adding more seasonings. That's where I think it really helps the home chef! I wish more chefs who cook out there can hold back on their salts sometimes and add more flavor with seasonings like you do!

The only thing you can do to fix a lumpy crazy is to strain the chunks BUT to avoiidddddd a chunky gravy, pour your liquid slowly. Pour a little, whisk thicken, add more, whisk to thicken, rinse and repeat until you get the desired consistency

Your directions and video don't exactly match. So you bake for 90 minutes uncovered, then bake again covered with temp bumped up, then when gravy goes on bake another 30min per video or is it 2hrs per directions?
