I love your ideas and work it looks really nice. Do you have any suggestions for a bachelor that has roommates? I only have my own room with a bathroom attached. I also have my computer desk in there for studying. I know its not much to work with but i dont like the "dormatory" look and feel when guest come over. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks again.
Thanks! Well let's see what canvas we have to work with... Are your walls drywall or are you in an actual dorm with cement walls? What color are the walls? What color are the floors? What styles do you lean towards? Light and bright? Dark? Colorful?
@@ChaudryGhafoor I have my own bedroom with a bathroom in a regular 2 bedroom apartment with drywall. The walls are white and i havent done anything with them. The floor is all carpet except for in the bathroom (toilet and shower part only) the sink is on the carpet as well. I like the dark designs just like in this video. The carpet is light brown like a tannish color. I have sliding wall closet which takes up one whole side of the room that also double as mirrors if that help some. Thank you again.
@@brit7330 I would first start by buying a large black rug to lay under your bed and over the carpet. Look up proper rug sizing for a room before buying. A rug large enough to cover a substantial portion of the room but not reach all the way to the walls. 2) Get a large fake plant (5-6 ft tall) in an attractive potter. Place that in the corner of the room which is furthest from the door. Like this in copper or black looks pretty good: www.wayfair.com/lighting/pdp/wrought-studio-perlis-6693-arched-floor-lamp-w005059567.html?piid=538022042 5) Layer your bed and add multiple colors to it..... For example: White sheets, black sleeping pillows, dark green accent pillows, brown faux fur blanket or throw 6) Add a gallery wall of interesting art work and items that you like above your desk area... Something like this: cdn.buttercms.com/ORC9ahnsQBezMRGxs1J6 Work with it, play around with some different stuff if you want.... These are just some ideas. It should get your started!
@@ChaudryGhafoor Wow thank you i never even thought about using a black rug haha. I will definitely utilize some of these tips and let you know how it comes together. Thanks again this is much appreciated!
