I painted all my rooms different dark colors and it works. Each room has its own personality.
Whooooooooooaaaa! As a Pagan ,I love it! Especially the hat pendent light. Question: could you have painted the ceiling a dark color? This pops!

Made the room look so much taller, especially the window with the high curtain trick. Looks amazing. I've never understood how most people I come across have intensely white, cream, beige, tan, homes. It's so bland and boring.

Your style is exactly like mine! I bought a house and painted it and designed it all in dark moody colors.

If I may ask though, from alternatives perspective, other colors that could also sit there on the roof ??
White serves best in my perspective. If you changed the ceiling color, we would have to switch out some of the decor items like the area rug in order to create visual balance

Core concept... then essentially work from the center outward. Get the main portion, then work the extremities. A lot of it is revision and creative thinking... Letting your mind wander and not putting limits on what you come up with.
(The ability to do this comes with time and experience)

I've had very dark {ebony} floors before....being single. they were a nightmare to keep clean.....always dust settling and cat hair........it shows everything I can't imagine having 3 dogs.....I'm not sure if they have children or not
