Something I'll never understand is how these fast food restaurants are started in America but don't give Americans variety like they do other nations.
Fast food adapt their menu to fit the place of the country their located at, otherwise the local wouldn’t eat there. It’s why KFC and McDonalds have interesting menu in Japan.
Been watching a couple episodes and I would recommend that, if possible, before going to any fast food, ask around what people's "specials" are. They can give you an idea of how they mod their favorite menu items. So, when you go anywhere you can check out things that are not announced but you can still ask for and might make your experience better.

Not sure if y'all are still in PR but I recommend trying PR chinese food/take out. It's soo good and I've heard it's very different from the one in other countries
So I was not aware that the cheesy pops are only available in PR. We have this on the menu in PR since I was a child. Sometimes I only go just to buy an order of them. Taste better when they are freshly made. You can also buy them at any time and also the hash browns can be bought at any time. Definitely the Mallorca sandwich in BK has the best breading. You should also try different coffees available in fast foods chains in PR we do have better coffee than USA, but every fast food use different brands of coffee and taste different.

@@familyandfriends3519 not quite the same though, I don't know which state have you been or lived in but I tried chinese food in florida and I tried it in a couple different places and none of them came even close to the flavor of Puerto Rico Chinese food. I'm not talking about panda express or something like that. I'm talking about the Chinese places with actual Chinese names. Those places in Puerto Rico are far superior in flavor compared to the Chinese food I tried in Florida in my experience.
When she says bread is something puerto ricans love, I’m here thinking “do american not enjoy bread as much then?” 😂
Mallorca is kinda like a brioche bread. It is and enriched and sweet bread. Not every place makes it the same. I enjoy when it is light and soft. Some of them are dense or meh. Especially the mass produced ones. Not a lot of bakeries in the part of PR where I live sell mallorcas, there is only one that I consider is the best mallorca I’ve had. So yeah kind hard to find one that compares or satisfies my palate.
Also I hope you go to local bakeries to get breakfast, their bread and sandwiches are so much better.

I grew up in PR and BK was a special treat for me and sis. Dessert was Spree candy and 7Up. P.s. the traditional bread in PR is called ‘pan de agua’

If you get a chance to go back please try Subways breakfast! I heard him say “if subway did breakfast” and I wanted to cry. Bruh, they make THE BEST breakfast in PR for fast food. Scramble the eggs right in front of you with pans and everything. You’ll find the construction workers and cops getting their breakfast at subway for sure!
Funniest thing to me is the breakfast sandwiches are knockoffs of the ones you'd get at a local bakery (panadería). Pan de mayorca makes any sandwich absolutely bomb!

Cheesy pops can be ordered as complements but i think that’s after 11am that they change the breakfast to lunch menu.
I recommend buying them at high hours like 12pm, 4:30pm-5:00pm that way they’re “freshly” fried.

It's always cool how fast food in different countries and regions have exclusive items.
I've tried Chinese food everywhere New York, la, Beijing, nobody makes better Chinese food than Puerto Rican Chinese restaurants, something about the spices and ingredients make it special and unique. ❤

If you were going to do a Puerto Rican fast-food breakfast video, you should've gone to the best place for it, El Mesón, not Burger King smh. I do hope you go for some more traditional stuff in later videos. And you should look for a good place to have Puerto Rican style chinese food while you're here.

If you'd try BK from the states and the island you'll know that it's not the same.
