Learn how to make miniature bottles using mold putty filled with hot glue or resin. I printed labels from Etsy. I also show how to make bottles even if you don't have mold putty or a printer.
I have lots of projects planned ranging from abandoned miniatures, furniture makeovers, accessories, kits and Dollhouse Miniatures in multiple scales. I also have a large Harry Potter build planned for 1" scale.

The hot glue trick is GENIUS
Thank you!
What a great idea! Resin gets expensive too so using hot glue is a good cheaper alternative
Thank you! Ara from Bentley House Minis made much more detailed molds and even cast a milk jug with a handle.
Awesome ideas
Thank you ')
I love how you include multiple methods of construction! Thanks so much!
My pleasure!
“ Put the best ones in front and tuck the ugly ones in back” 🤭🫠 My childhood story as told from the back row on every picture day. I’m so lols right now!
😂 that's hilarious
Easy, great ideas. Cutting out pictures from industrial catalogs is genius! I think hot glue sticks come in different colors now, could save some time painting. Thanks!
I think you're right about the hot glue sticks coming in different colors now. Good tip! Thank you
That glue gun bottle technique is fantastic!
Thank you 😊
aww thats some raw talent, way to go!!
Thank you! I ended up making more than I planned to. It was fun.
You are one smart artist! Thank you for sharing! I'm learning a lot.
You are so welcome!
Stop it.
That hot glue stick bottle was so stinking clever and cute!
😂❤
Thank you 😊
Oh thank you for that melting the glue stick over the candle idea! I have to try that!
You are so welcome! I always like to give alternative material ideas so more people can participate.
Hello, I just found your videos yesterday and I knew I had to subscribe. Once I saw your Abandoned Lab video and how much of that you made from your own imagination I thought, this lady knows things. I normally restore, Lesney Matchbox Toys or Dinky Toys but I've always had an interest in minatures and doll houses. Your lab is great and these bottles are pretty cool. I'll be watching more of your videos and learning.
Thank you so much! I appreciate that. Tomorrow morning I have a new video dropping. I show how to make miniature jars from scratch with everyday items. No resin!
Thanks for the great ideas and cheaper ways to make these little bottles!
You are so welcome!
They look great! I really like the glue stick one, too! So easy and cute. Thank you.
Thank you :) I always like to explain how to make something even if you don't have all the materials I use. Where there's a will, there's a way. You can make minis from anything.
I just love your videos. I learn so much. Thank you 😊
I'm so glad! Thank you 😊
Thanks for the tips. I need to make some bottles for a project I'm planning on doing.
My pleasure
Super cute litte bottles😮
Thank you!
Great tutorial, I’m gonna try and make these bottles. Thank you for all your teachings. You make it so easy to follow along, that’s why I love watching your videos. Have a great weekend 💐
Thank you so much :) Happy crafting!
Thank you, &thanks for alternatives too☺
My pleasure :) Thank you for watching

🍾
Very cute...thanks for the tips!👏🏾
My pleasure! Thank you for commenting
Love them🥰 I made the same mistake with not sealing the paper first..lol but quickly learned...I think it makes a difference coloring both sides bc it makes the paper look and feel older. I'm gonna have to try some of that mold putty!
Thank you!
I definitely recommend mold putty. I've made so many molds and I'm only halfway through the bottles. It lasts forever and it's really useful.
Omg i love these! (Even the "ugly" ones! Ha ha!) Thanks for the tips, I'll definitely be trying this. :)
I learned that tip from Little Gretchen. Even the ugly ducklings get to be part of the scene (just hide them 🤗)
Hey Shyra, thanks for your amazingly easy to follow videos, I love using hot glue in projects to get details that would be hard to replicate in other ways. I haven’t used the putty before and you make it look so easy, I’m going to give it a try. Also thank you so much for your post! It’s getting close to that magic number and I’m incredibly grateful for your support ❤
Your use of hot glue in silicon molds is brilliant. I have some similar molds. I'll need to try that out.
Sharing your channel is my pleasure. It's a treasure trove of excellent miniature making ideas.
I'm going to try this, thanks for the ideal.
Have fun!
These turned out great! And perfect timing too...I'm starting to work on the bathroom in my dollhouse and need to make some bottles for it. I almost sent you a message earlier this week because I was trying to stain a Chrysnbon kit and couldn't get the paint to stick. I finally figured it out by adding a bit of mod podge to the mix. :)
That's awesome! I'm sure the bathroom will turn out great. Make sure you visit Little Gretchen's channel. She has several videos making bathroom accessories.
Nicely done blessings
Thank you :)
wow .thank you for the idea.
You're welcome!
These are awesome
Thank you :)
Heads up to Glue Manufacturers : WE WANT A TOTALLY CLEAR GLUE STICK ! PLEASE ?
Absolutely! We deserve that!
Thanks for the tip
You're welcome 🤗
I wonder if a Brother Scan N Cut would help you with cutting out the pieces? Great tutorial!
I'm sure it would. I have a Cricut. I'm just too aggravated by technology to utilize things that can help. I end up doing everything by hand.
lots of printables on pintrest too …
Yes, for sure
This is perfect for the 1:6 witch's/healers cottage I want to make! What glue do you use to put the labels on the bottles?
I used Canopy glue which is just white glue. Elmer's glue or any other type of pva glue would work as well.
They sell crystal clear glue sticks
Ooh! I didn't know that. Thank you
Hey Shyra, what kind of glue gun do you use? Is it dual temp? I need to get a new one and I LOVE the bottles made with hot glue. I'm just curious if they will still turn out yellow if you use the low temp. I need a new printer too lol. When moving from overseas most electrical items can't come with 🤪
It's an EasyHome hot glue gun. It IS a duel temp 😂 I never noticed. The switch is on high so that's what I always use it on. Maybe I'll change it up now and then.
An overseas move sounds like an adventure for sure. Enjoy!
@@queencityminis Thank you. Ahh, you always make me laugh.
You are the bomb👍👍👩🏽🦱👩🏽🦱
Thank you :)
