    Learn how to make miniature bottles using mold putty filled with hot glue or resin. I printed labels from Etsy. I also show how to make bottles even if you don't have mold putty or a printer.
    I have lots of projects planned ranging from abandoned miniatures, furniture makeovers, accessories, kits and Dollhouse Miniatures in multiple scales. I also have a large Harry Potter build planned for 1" scale.

    What a great idea! Resin gets expensive too so using hot glue is a good cheaper alternative

    Easy, great ideas. Cutting out pictures from industrial catalogs is genius! I think hot glue sticks come in different colors now, could save some time painting. Thanks!

    Hello, I just found your videos yesterday and I knew I had to subscribe. Once I saw your Abandoned Lab video and how much of that you made from your own imagination I thought, this lady knows things. I normally restore, Lesney Matchbox Toys or Dinky Toys but I've always had an interest in minatures and doll houses. Your lab is great and these bottles are pretty cool. I'll be watching more of your videos and learning.

    Love them🥰 I made the same mistake with not sealing the paper first..lol but quickly learned...I think it makes a difference coloring both sides bc it makes the paper look and feel older. I'm gonna have to try some of that mold putty!

      I definitely recommend mold putty. I've made so many molds and I'm only halfway through the bottles. It lasts forever and it's really useful.

    Hey Shyra, thanks for your amazingly easy to follow videos, I love using hot glue in projects to get details that would be hard to replicate in other ways. I haven’t used the putty before and you make it look so easy, I’m going to give it a try. Also thank you so much for your post! It’s getting close to that magic number and I’m incredibly grateful for your support ❤

    These turned out great! And perfect timing too...I'm starting to work on the bathroom in my dollhouse and need to make some bottles for it. I almost sent you a message earlier this week because I was trying to stain a Chrysnbon kit and couldn't get the paint to stick. I finally figured it out by adding a bit of mod podge to the mix. :)

    • @queencityminis

      I used Canopy glue which is just white glue. Elmer's glue or any other type of pva glue would work as well.

    Hey Shyra, what kind of glue gun do you use? Is it dual temp? I need to get a new one and I LOVE the bottles made with hot glue. I'm just curious if they will still turn out yellow if you use the low temp. I need a new printer too lol. When moving from overseas most electrical items can't come with 🤪

    • @queencityminis
      @queencityminis  Год назад

      It's an EasyHome hot glue gun. It IS a duel temp 😂 I never noticed. The switch is on high so that's what I always use it on. Maybe I'll change it up now and then.
      An overseas move sounds like an adventure for sure. Enjoy!
