Rainbow Rock via BlackpipeTrail (Botanical Gardens)

A trail guide from around Moongate (Botanical Gardens Penang) to "Rainbow Rock" at Bukit Cendana. This is a fairly easy trail with short steep slopes and gentle ascent. With a decent pace, anyone should be able to reach the rock with minimum difficulty. Moreover, there is a Station 5 rest stop in between to recharge the "battery" and have some free kopi-o and snacks. The harder part is from Moongate to Station 5, it gets easier after that with long and gentle climb to Station 84, 39 intersection. A steep but short climb is needed to reach Rainbow Rock. The rock is part of Bukit Cendana but it is not the peak - the peak is about 30mins hike from there.

Being a born and bred Penang unker, I thought it would be fun if the narration be spoken in Penang Hokkien which has a mixture of hokkien, english and malay. It has a unique blend and tone but is sadly going kaput soon. Although my hokkien is campur-campur and not pure (hor ee khee), I hope that this video will contribute to the collection of Penang hokkien videos on RUclips and I will try to make more in the future.
