This is one of my favorites from NW. I think the idea for this song is based on a book, where village is preparing for a wolf pack’s attack, but this is also one of Tuomas’s life lessons: ”Make your every day useful, because the end is coming eventually” We finns have this old expression: ”Live like you would die tomorrow, but living for a hundred years” I think this song start as good, but getting better and better, until in the end it’s totally awesome. Floor’s silent scream is epic 💪
You should also check out epica with floor doing sancta terra. Epica is also a great dutch symphonick metal band with female singer. Their retrospect show is awsome

Only Nightwish will dare to play a Bouzouki in a metal song and make it sound great :-) And in the second half our Queen nearly turns into a Werewolf :-) This is just great. All hail the Valkyrie Goddess !

Next step to you is to do the entire Wembley show in 2015 And after the Buenos Aires in 2018 So much fun to come😊 Floor is on the stage since 1997 with her first band After Forever And yes she was on point during these days.......so yeahhhh And with the band she made.. Revamp You have so so so so so much to learn about NIGHTWISH.........and Floor herself It would take you 2 year to all discover
You should definitely listen to the studio version of this one! I think it's actually much better than this live version! Especially if you like violins ;) I think this live version sort of removes great of the essence of the original one to be honest :p
Nightwish have done only 1 decent concert Wacken 2013 . Get into classic metal , Pink Floyd . Gun,s n Roses , AC/DC ,Black Sabbath , Deep purple , CCR , so so many bands better than this band consistently . I prefer guitar led bands rather than voice led
Floor and Marko together - WOW. They compliment each other so well. This is one of their best. You're starting to get into concerts with Kai as the drummer. Listen for his little tricks and subtleties he throws in. Sometimes it comes from the bass drum pedal, sometimes it comes from a cymbal or the hat. I really miss Jukka for his presence and energy but I've come to really like Kai also. He is an outstanding drummer and he plays his butt off. Check out the Wembley show open "Shudder Before the Beautiful" - - - OMG
