    You are awesome dude! I love your videos. So clear and articulate!
    I have installed the foam cell pro on my Prado 150 and loving it so far. I have the performance springs installed with this. If I decided to go for a full metal bumper (ironman's),will I need to change the springs to constant load? 2nd question: Sometimes when going offroading, I can hear some creaking like similar to bed springs. What could be the cause of this? Control Arms? I have OEM control arms. Do I grease them? If so, what type of grease?

    Greetings po sir! I have a 2015 Fortuner with KYB New SR shocks which are great for high-speed cornering but they are really stiff. I won't be adding any weight to the car. I want to improve the ride comfort and be able to drive fast on a very, very, very poorly maintained mountainous highway riddled with small rocks and potholes whilst maintaining good cornering. What shock and spring combo can you recommend po? Will getting the 2" lift induce more body roll po due to the higher center of gravity or will the difference be negligible?

    • @ironman4x4philippines20
      @ironman4x4philippines20  Год назад

      The body roll and high speed handling is greatly influenced by the spring rate. For the fortuner we have standard height (max 1 inch) lift springs and 2 inch springs. I would suggest pairing them up by with foam cell front and foam cell comfort rear shocks.

      @@ironman4x4philippines20 thank you for the advice,
      Also I was finding for toyota fortuner 2016, to improve the comfot in mostly road and less off road according to the research I am getting below advice from online so please can you advise if its correct
      "When looking to improve the comfort of your Toyota Fortuner for mostly on-road driving, replacing the original shock absorbers can indeed make a difference. In terms of the options you mentioned, Ironman Nitro, Foam Cell, and Foam Cell Pro, they all have their unique features and benefits.
      Ironman Nitro shock absorbers are known for their twin-tube design, providing better control and ride comfort. They offer improved damping characteristics and can enhance your driving experience on paved roads.
      Foam Cell shock absorbers utilize a cellular foam insert within the shock to prevent aeration, improve heat dissipation, and provide smoother performance. They are particularly suitable for vehicles engaged in demanding off-road activities, as the foam insert reduces the risk of shock fade.
      Foam Cell Pro shock absorbers are an upgraded version of Foam Cell shocks. They incorporate a larger diameter and stronger piston rod for increased durability and better performance in both on- and off-road conditions.
      If your priority is primarily on-road comfort and you want to maintain the same height, the Ironman Nitro shock absorbers would be a suitable option. They should enhance the smoothness of your ride without significantly raising the height of the vehicle.
      However, it's important to note that shock absorbers work in conjunction with other suspension components, such as springs and bushings. Consider the condition of these parts as well, as they can affect ride quality. If they are worn, it might be beneficial to replace them along with the shock absorbers."

    Great Video. I am considering upgrading my stock struts (Lexus GX460) that have a level kit to obtain my 2.5" lift with Ironman FCPs and medium load springs. I will likely go with the Ironman UCAs too so I can eliminate the 1" wheel spacer I have (front only to eliminate rubbing). I have KDSS and rear springs and shocks are stock with the level kit. Any concern for what I am planning. Ultimately, I would upgrade the rear when needed. GX spends most of the time on pavement, but weekends it does overlanding. Thanks.

      @jonasmemoracion5578 did you end up getting your suspension fixed? Did you have the normal foam cell or the foam cell pro? I have a Ford Ranger I'm looking at getting Ironman suspension with no load springs in the front, comfort shocks in the rear, and leave the original leaf springs in the rear, but if it is a bit rough I'm a bit worried about that.

    Sir at 11:00 you said, a lot of shops use the rings to lift the vehicle which is a wrong practice. So you mean to say I can still get better handling in high speed highway situations and comfort in regular city driving just by changing the shocks alone? Most promos by shops says you need to add a leaf because if you put Ironman shocks and coils, the front of the car will automatically lift. So you need to purchase shackles or add a leaf. Is this true?

    • @ironman4x4philippines20
      @ironman4x4philippines20  3 года назад +3

      The vehicle will NOT lift by changing the stock shocks to Ironman 4x4 shocks. If you change the shocks alone, you get the same height as the stock setup. Now if you use Ironman 4x4 shocks and Ironman 4x4 coils, you will get about 1 to 2 inches of lift, depending on the vehicle and Ironman 4x4 coilspring part number. Then, you need to use Ironman 4x4s AddALeaf to lift the rear too. Do not use shackles to lift as they simply do NOT work to improve ride.

      Hi sir, we do have lift kits for the Pajero. My usual setup is B front springs, and either Nitrogas or Foam Cell, the for the rear usually A springs and Nitrogas. It is about 45mm to 50mm in front and 35 to 40mm at the rear, since Filipinos like a more level stance.
