As a Centrist millennial I'm glad to see not all of Gen Z is a lost cause. We need people who believe in free speech above all else to continue to exist or that is when the world is truly doomed.
Centrist ftw! It's good to have the context to be able to form your own opinions about the world, and choose how you act based off of facts and common sense, verses being compelled by the heavily biased, and often emotionally-charged views of a side.
Yeah, but the thing is that freedom of speech protects you from the government, not everyone else. I think people should be able to have their own opinions, but if you are an d*ckhead, people are going to treat you like an d*ckhead. Too many racist, sexist, bigoted people hide behind free speech like it's a get out of jail free card.
@@DanaTubetestik While I agree that is irrelevant. Freedom of speech is the right to be all of those things without due harm. If someone walked up and called me the most racist thing they could it doesn't give me the right to assault them. That is where the issue sits. People think its ok to bypass a literal freedom (legal) and assault someone (illegal). While people who act as you say "dickheads" are a waste of life they are well within their rights to be those things.
Just because someone hurt your feelings with words doesn't mean you can assault them in any fashion other than verbally which is then protected by freedom of speech. The amendment doesn't specify certain words etc... its all inclusive.

I'm just saying, just like someone is allowed to call me a dyke (lesbian) or a retard (mild autism), I'm allowed to call them an asshole and not want to associate with them. I'm allowed to call someone a racist if they are racist and fight to protect myself from them. Whether it's getting hate crimed or having my rights taken away, I am allowed to fight. And if someone voted for politicians that are trying to strip me and others of my human rights and make me less than human, you can't blame me for thinking the world would be better if they were dead.

I have listened to a few gen z people and it seems like gen z is bouncing back to center. It makes sense, most generations go opposite of of the previous generation in rebellion. Millennials parents where right wing, so the swung hard left, but sense we are hard left gen z is bouncing back to center. I wish we could all be center, its the most sane place to be. Im technically a right winger but i feel more center. I vote red for a few key reasons but i have alot of criticisms for both parties and i hate them both. But I feel healthier being in the middle. I went wild when I heard this hook, people love to hate on Tom's hooks but I think they're so melodic and catchy.
I'm 36 and it does give me hope someone half my age still believes in the same freedoms, gives me a small hope and thank you sir, never change.
I'm sorry if you talk about it later in this video but in case you don't have watched several reaction videos on this song and not one person brings up the fact that everything comes up talking about how girls listen to music that makes them want to dress like really provocatively and then when these girls get raped we blame the girl because she dressed provocatively! Like s*** shaming even today people still do it even though there's so much sexuality in music and the atmosphere is so sexually charged we still go after the girl in a rape situation rather than the perpetrator!

I'm Gen X and I'm so happy I came across this. You give me hope. I'm raising my daughter, the very last of Gen Z to think for herself. Not left or right, look into both sides and decide for yourself what's right. I do fall more on the conservative side, but both extremes are awful and I still support parts of the left. You might have missed the point tom was making in the baby girl verse. He’s referring to the tendency of women to not value themselves and how society fosters self hatred. “Find a man to fill the holes we made”. Lack of self acceptance holds most women back.

Small headsup, you said " this is 10 times different from his other one" but actualy it's the other one that is 10 times different from what he usualy brings. THIS is Tom's style, the shock effect, the hard facts, the " no cares given " attitude and the " fuck the system" style of his lyrics is what makes Tom part of a small group of independ rappers who need to be protected at all costs. If you like Tom's style, make sure to check Samson for example, he has a very similar style of lyrics with a pinch more " happy" feeling ( melody and vocalusage ) but still drops HARD facts.

May I suggest a series of books by Terry Goodkind called The Sword of Truth novels? Wizard's First Rule is the beginning of the series. I believe you'd enjoy some of the principles in it.

It is always great to find young people who are capable to think for themselves. I just became a father of two daughters few years ago and it is kinda shitty feeling to think what kinda of world we are all going to live in about 18 to 20 years from now. If anything I wish I can get them raised well enough that they don't listen all the bollocks in the world what news and certain movements are trying to make. If nothing else I wish they at least learn to question and think for themselves as that is a skill which cannot be easily found these days.
