In this video, I review the ORICO USB4.0 NVMe SSD Enclosure which advertises a continuous read speed of 2,700 MB/s and continuous write of 1,400 MB/s. It supports USB 4.0 and Thunderbolt 3, but is backwards compatible with USB 3.0, 3.1, and 3.2. It comes with a USB-C to USB-C and USB-A to USB-C cable, so it can be used with newer and older computers.

With these prices I wonder if the best option for an external NVME would be a USB 3.2 gen 2x2 enclosure? 20 Gb/s is 2.5 GB/s, which is very close to your results, and these cost around 50 in EU

how does this compare against the ORICO 40Gbps USB4.0 M.2 NVMe? they have 2 versions made by ORico

It has only a 67% 5-star rating on Amazon which is not good!
