Hi Ivan, just something that I picked up speaking with a few people, about the IDF short carbines: those were born as converted M16A1 rifles, modified to be more maneuverable in urban warfare, by replacing the fixed stocks with buffer tubes and telescopic stocks, and cutting the barrels down. Now, since the cut had to be made BEHIND the existing gas block, the overall length would end up being at best 11", and often non-standard lengths (basically as short or long as the armorer deemed appropriate). Those are usually nicknamed Mekut'zar by the soldiers, which appropriately means "shortened". By contrast, the M4A1s and M653/M723, carbines that were born as such, were usually nicknamed Kat'zar, which translates simply as "short".
Man, amazing content. Please keep it up. There are few of us here for right now, but as you continue to cover more and more conflicts I'm sure your channel will develop a niche following man. You're scratching an itch of mine I have had for a long time. Thank you for providing this content!
Damn bro this is extremely detailed, it also shows how much research you’ve done when you can distinguish between these different types of body armour (and also pronounce them pretty accurately). Can’t wait for a video about Yom Kippur ‘tankist’ uniform ;) Great video
Great video and pronunciation!! As an Israeli feel free to modify it as you like! A major part of military service it to "לשפצר" (LeShaptzer) your equipment. From the canteen to your weapon and sling or the vest itself. Look up videos on how to "שיפצור" there are plenty of toturiols out there
Hey man, I’ve been looking to get an EPHOD rig for some time now but can’t seem to find any. Would you happen to know a retailer that has them in stock? Also, I loved the video. Great attention to detail. 👌

Thank you, my friend told me the same, so thanks to you we now know that 2 sources have the same data and we can be confident in it.
