For the area where its not wide enough where you cant blow up the rock, have the center train lines go up and the outer ones stay at same height but go inward creating a double decker line for a few. To me, that makes more continuity in design and looks like it was meant to be that way.
Alternatively split the two pairs of lines leaving a gap in the middle. This way the trains on one side go through the arch rather than having the risk of pinch points in the network.
Still love storage rooms, but upload speed to the dimensional depot is per uploader, not per item. This does mean you can have two depots uploading concrete, giving 480/minute, or go overboard and have 4 depots at 960/minute, etc. And having the items just automatically usable is way more convenient that going back to your base to grab more when you run out.
Man that's the first video of yours I've seen and I'm so impressed, your hub/storage room is incredible. I wish you showed how you design those aesthetics blueprints more, but I understand that it would take the whole length of the video lol
Finishied my first playthrough this morning (pulled an all nighter making the Uranium waste processing plant into sinked plutonium rods) and 200~ hours done (in 1 month). Did only floating tower factories upto mid game and later did box factories with a janky train line build on the next half. The only real factories I built were for malls. Idk why but I have so many ideas and everything and really wanna start fresh but realistically cant be sinking that many marathon hours into this game because its plain unhealthy. So yeah, currently fighting myself between uninstalling the game for later and start fresh again (and torture myself). So in a sense I loved watching vids like these of yours, of an experienced person starting again from scratch.
lol no worries, appreciate it. i play mostly only this one game so if i can keep my self occupied with things to do and crazy builds to make it makes me so happy. you know what you could do if you want, switch over to creative mode, and build some small buildings or test things out. you could fly and have no power on and unlock all. now that you beat the game the sky is the limit.
@@DrawingXaos I gave into my intrusive thoughts :( Restarted the game. But this time had some edits like fly and unlock all alternate recipes from the start. As well as installed some mods, esp the QOL ones that save time like faster manual crafting, infinite zoop, infinite nudge etc. Nothing too blatant like cheating in items because that still feels "un immersive" for me. Also trying to exclusively build with blueprints, and focusing more on aesthetic appeal this time around. (I am also collecting fun or functional blueprints to be implemented into my build, so if you do have any free blueprints do point me to them, would be much appreciated.)
1 water extractor is enough to get you 450 copper /iron ingots per minute, or 60 caterium. Like, sure, it all depends on what problems you want to spend your time solving for sure, but it's hard to imagine a scenario in which it's easier to set up a crude oil production chain than it is to just plop down like 6 water extractors. Foundries are a hell of a lot prettier to look at though I guess.
I was thinking the same thing. If I have to deal with fluids either way and get the same results, I'd rather use water. Especially considering how much more I can do with crude oil lines
I see your storage room have 1m floor holes. I currently working on MK6 belts and I find out from other RUclipsr that they affect rate of MK5-6 belts rate and slow down items transfer, 2m and 4m floor holes are not, only 1m, so I recommend it for you as well to not use them, at least until they will be fixed by devs (we don't get fixes until Ficsmas)
37:12 those mini waterfalls... either have the trains go through one or right next to them and the clipping arch could probably be avoided with a slight bend to the highway... maybe not from the power tower you observed the thing from at 36:56 but from the lights at halfway should probably barely avoid having to avoid the stone pillars on the right.... but if that does not align properly you can always make the lane go outwards and avoid the thing... since going inwards would interfere with the inner track...
Appearently there is a mod called "Universal Destroyer" that will remove all static mesh models that you want. I never tried it so cant say how well it works. Looks like you select the model from a menu and click it to be removed. Id much rather throw a nobalisk on it and blow it up, maybe theres another mod to do this or somthing I could try implementing whenever I finally try making my own mods. I got quite a few ideas I feel that need to be made, atleast for my sanity lol.

nice, i will look into that.

@@DrawingXaosCan you post your save file on the discord I'm not trying to start the game again
I find your videos so good for learning and a bit of fun nice editing as well. its just DEPOT IS PRONOUNCE DEPO....... GREAT VIDEO love the chains....
Only in America 😁. Over here in Oz it’s deh-po
lol thanks, i love the depot, really the best thing they added to the game.

True, good thing there are tons of Spheres.

yeah, really depends on how you want to run your base and what you can do.
Once I had a few spare Spheres, I connected my Concrete Factory to 4 Dimensional Storage Containers. 960/min is enough so far!
Everything you do is amazing mate ! keep up the Great work :)
awe, thank you.
I have been playing for years without mods and you convinced me in 2 seconds with infinite zoop 😂
It is life changing
Don't forget the daisy chain mod. No more power poles and cabling everywhere.
the rabbit hole has begun... soon its just 1 mod, then you have a group of 12 you cant live without lol.
I always use a storage before the dimensional uploader... That way it loads faster if I need more than what the last machine can store
Nice, great idea.
You can build more demi storages so it wil upload faster 😊
nice, i need that for concreate

yeah, but once i get a train over there, should be so much better for power and transportation.
just go up and over with the train track to avoid that rock tentical.
yeah, i ended up making it turn a bit, cuz after the rock tentacle was a huge rock in the way anyway.
@DrawingXaos facepalm. well good thing you made a turn 😁
lol oh man i'm sorry the nasally voice say de-pot was toooooo much for me.
lol
You can also destroy the balloon things.
Finally, those things get in the way too much.

neat, that would be interesting to use but i cant do to much none vanilla stuff. but good looking out.
@DrawingXaos ah right forgot were trying to keep in vanilla...ish.
Depot is pronounced "Deepo"
lol i know.
2:43 much better
Thanks.
First
nice.
