Kitae it’s not to say you’re being abused, it’s to give a location, and most are trained now to know that it’s to give a location, if they don’t they’ll say you’re on call to 911 and the called would say I know I know you’re not understanding or something along those lines and they catch on.
These comments are just seeing who is here from TikTok 😅 but really know this is a real method u can use with dispatchers when in a situation like this stay safe everyone ❤ x
Dispatchers actually arent trained to know that asking for pizza means there's domestic abuse. The best thing you can do is get somewhere private where your abuser cant hear you and tell the cops exactly what's happening and why you need help
Kitae tbh most of them will catch on to it because of the sound of your voice and if your voice is shaky and sound alike your trying to not cry it will most likely work
I am a trucker from Connecticut and about 16 years ago I was in New Jersey trapped under a load when it collapsed on me in the back of my trailer, I was all alone. Being a former firefighter when I regained consciousness I knew I was in a whole lot of trouble as I was going into shock. I had many broken bones and half my body was numb but I managed to reach my cell phone to call 911 and told her of my plight. I was certain I was going to die and I asked her to tell my wife I loved her and I was thinking of her in the end. She refused to let me give up and stayed on the phone with me keeping me awake. It took the police a half hour to find my location and another hour for rescue to get me out. I had a long and painful recovery but I made it. That 911 dispatcher was my guardian Angel and gave me the strength I needed to survive. I wish I could've thanked her.
It’s a nice song, but I feel like it’s a bad idea to make the situation so popular because then the kidnappers will know about it and it won’t work anymore
not just kidnappers but domestic violence situations... but there really is no other way to get the word out... you can change it tho... call out from work. cancel an 'appointment' .... anything really
i can’t imagine being a 911 dispatcher i’ve read so many heart breaking stories. only thing i dislike is post victims won’t be able to use “ordering pizza” as an excuse anymore 😕
But they don’t have to use pizza operators are more aware now that if they get a call not within the normal police limits and that it might seem incredibly strange that they will pay more attention to tone of voice and they will likely ask questions to see what the problem is instead of hanging up. Like someone could call and start asking for directions to somewhere or something or they could call and pretend like they’re talking to their boss saying they would be out the next few days because ya know they’re being held hostage. What’re the excuse operators are listening more intently
As an Advanced EMT, I thank all of the 911 dispatchers for what they do and go through each and every day. Without you, my partner and I wouldn't be able to race to those in need. Thank you.
Spoke with Shanna yesterday. SHanna is warm articulate, engaging and kind. Sometimes you can meet your hero's and it's wonderful 😊 BTW new music out today.
Yes I come here from TikTok searching the lyrics and that, but I listened to this understanding the fact that this is a spot to get away from what is going to happen. So I’d say this is telling me that you can fake something to get help from the people.
I've listened to this a bunch since I first heard it a few months ago. I researched it and whether it's a tiktok or this video (my favorite), I at least tear up but usually get pretty choked. My Dad was an LACo. Deputy so, I have a bunch of love deep inside for law enforcement people. Thank you all and your families for their sacrifices!
Crazy that all these people know this from TikTok, thats how you know it's so addicting that they will never know these other good songs, anyways. I found this song in like 2020 and it wasn't on TikTok, it was from RUclips, from a tribute of dispatching, crazy. Good music

Me! I saw so many videos on TikTok last night with this! It is now my new favorite song! 😔
And ordering a pizza is a really good way to call the cops in a situation like that
It won’t be when the abusers see that this is a thing.

Operators arent trained to know that asking for pizza means you're being abused. Most will hang up because they think it's a prank call
Kitae not all of them

No one important I mean I come from tik tok, but I’m understanding what you mean there.
Kitae, I’m a dispatcher and we’re trained in a way to understand a circumstance similar to this

When dialing a phone, if the first 3 numbers are 911, it's goes to them regardless of the numbers pressed after.
