And still as good now in these dark days of Covid. Thank you Ana and Ronnie for all your great music. The good days will come again. Stay safe. Love from Toulouse, France.
Have watched this track so many times and it can bring tears to my eyes. The empathy between Ana and Ronnie is so evident. The expressions on Anna's face when Ronnie is playing solos. Music like this does not come along very often.
2000yearRainfire 3120 How very true! You might want to check out Ronnie with Samantha Fish at the Bull Run, 'Who's Been Talking'. Also with the great Go Go Ray on drums! Ronnie ad relaxed as ever sitting on an amp!
How can anyone compare Anna and Ronnie! Both great players! Different styles! Ever listen to Ronnie in his prime! And seen Anna many times raise the roof of many great shows! I am lucky to know both of them very well. Both great people!
It's tough, no impossible, to be inside the artists head when they are plying their craft. If you don't like their interpretation of their art............well you know what to do. As for myself, from the perspective of many decades, I'm glad to see any good artist at work.
I notice some people knocking on Ronnie Earl. He happens to be one of Ana's favorites. Ronnies not as fast as he used to be however he plays with so much passion and heart. I just saw Ronnie and the broadcasters this past Saturday and it was an experience like no other. Not fair to compare the both. They are both great in their own ways. Go listen to Ronnies stuff on RUclips and you'll see.
You got my style of playing...I felt it...and I don't get Moved too easy. I add what Jimi H. gave me....along with Jeff Beck, Carlo Santana, Johnny Winter.....WOW! I do love you Baby Ana...Killer! Thank You.......Charlie P.
Those of you who didn't get that, I suggest a Jack Jackhammering job. I have been playing electric and folk for 44 year and I loved it. PLEASE if you don't know any songs to play other than Stairway to Heaven,Keep your opinions to yourself .
Not sure if Ronnie is playing thru one of his amps . I can tell you this he always uses black face Super reverbs with believe it or not Pyle Driver speakers. I know this because I have one of his amps and looked into the back of his other amps
And not very often these days, unfortunately. I've seen him a long time ago when he WAS as good as anyone out there. Monster Mike Welch smokes both of them and it's not about how many notes played. It's about getting the very most out of each one you do play, at which Ronnie Earl was a master once upon a time.
Not Ronnie's guitar, and he's playing through a Hot Rod Deluxe instead of his vintage Fender amp, putting him at a disadvantage here. Ronnie is one of the finest, most articulate Blues Jazz players anywhere and Ana certainly has plenty of chops also.
Ana's tone was thin on this clip and her phrasing seemed forced and cramped with technical play, Ronnie's phrasing and tone were spot on and better served the piece. This particular duet was a tad clunky.
This is the first time I have seen Ronnie, I've watched a couple of his videos tonight. Although he is quite an accomplished player, I think he tries to fit in too much into the songs. He seems to have a tendency to come in too soon before the singer finishes the line she is singing. His timing aint great at times either. Sorry folks, just my take on it. If you watch the likes of Gary Moore playing, his guitar compliments his singing perfectly without one getting in the way of the other both blending into sheer magic blues.
If this was your first intro to Ronnie then I'd agree-they didn't sound too natural together on this recording. That being said try listening to some of his studio recordings-pretty great stuff that you'll probable really enjoy.
Ronnie is a great guitarist - Ana has has a nice guitar and a nice dress. End of.... sorry but that is all I see here... and I have no personal beef against Ms Popovic///
She plays much more emotional and soulful music, with much more skillful and versatile techniques. No comparison between the two of them. It's pointless.
Cicliste C, I've been on Facebook a while now and I am for certain that your post was the most ignorant I've seen? Do you play any music at all? If you don't like hard Imporv, change the channel. Maybe Boyz in the Hood or Brittany Spears. Something easy to tap your foot with until you can appreciate good music.
Actually I took the time to look at your fb page and you have some very good music. many same as me.on this one song I would be happy to disagree to disagree.
I saw her and Bonamassa both at the same blues fest years apart and they both killed. She actually had a better show than he did although I wouldn't say she's a better player. He's just unreal. Love em both.
Ana, ljubi te majka! Hell of the Gig! Fantastic! Love ya so much! Belgrade Callin'!
And still as good now in these dark days of Covid. Thank you Ana and Ronnie for all your great music. The good days will come again.

😭🎻
Ronnie can bend that fender and Ana can sing it. Great stuff
If there is one bluesman many in the business wish to play with, its Ronnie Earl. A true national treasure.
What about Walter Trout? I think, his style i s quite similar to Ronnies
Great playing and singing! Keepin the blues alive.
Ana and Ronnie are a great match with this song :) Ana is my favorite female Blues guitarist!! Love her work!!!! I love this gal :D
Ana Popovic e Ronnie coppia artisticamente avvincente trasmettete l'intesa e le sonorità che avete dentro ....passione!
How can anyone compare Anna and Ronnie! Both great players! Different styles! Ever listen to Ronnie in his prime! And seen Anna many times raise the roof of many great shows! I am lucky to know both of them very well. Both great people!
These two together... priceless. They are both incredible musicians. They compliment each other VERY well.
Still as good now in 2023. Always the music!
Cant compare the two. Totally different styles. Both are masters in their own right! Love this!
It's tough, no impossible, to be inside the artists head when they are plying their craft.
If you don't like their interpretation of their art............well you know what to do.
As for myself, from the perspective of many decades, I'm glad to see any good artist at work.
Love this ,way cool, Cheers from our Space lounge in Finland and USA
I love them! Makes me feel good! Kathy B. from Florida.
As I harmonica player, I always appreciate some good, down-home blues guitar, and Ronnie and Ana epitomize that. This is why I love the blues.
Ronnie is the man !! One of the very best blues guitar folks alive today . Incredible!!
My Girl can play some Blues I Love the SRV sound too. Then she pulled out some jazz licks in between and I was like WHAT! Awesome Ana!
I love your blues. Very good Ana !

Pure art!
Anna is so under rated, because she is a woman. I saw her at the Bull Run (played there myself once) and saw her at a hendrix show, AMAZING!
Super Legends!!!!! Love!!!!!!!
Ana SRV popovic and Ronnie BBK Earl....amazing and super entertaining
Ronnie is more Hubert Sumlin and Magic Sam than BB.

Magnificent!
Ana is so good!

Very nice indeed
Two greats. PERIOD.
Hack by hard
Ana steals the show here in every way. Must've been hard for Ronnie to concentrate !
Ronnie Earl says less in more!
@@83roadstar He learned that from Jimmie Vaughan.
You should listen to Vladan Stanosevic, guy who teached Ana how to play slide when she was a kid.
I was there
Love them, both great Blues artists, both worked their asses off to get there. Anyone know what amp Ronnie is playing through? I need one.
Not sure if Ronnie is playing thru one of his amps . I can tell you this he always uses black face Super reverbs with believe it or not Pyle Driver speakers. I know this because I have one of his amps and looked into the back of his other amps
The drummer had fun on this one!
Ana fuoriclasse...
very cool this lady can play the blues !!
You don't see too many great female guitar players. Get down Ana!
'One room country shack' fuck you there ar more legendary bands that have played here that you can't Imagine.
... redovno sjajna Ana
Even the Grand Wizards are entitled to an off night. But when Ronnie is on he's almost untouchable.
Not this video.....

Nice Nice Baby!!
Is that all you got?
Her drummer has the best seat in the house. Well, 2nd best...
Yes Love Ronnie but Ana's phasing is Amazing !
!!!!!!!!!
cooler sound-tears for new york
Ana je zakon !!! Ispratila je Ronnia u penziju
Both great guitarists. It's impossible for R. E. to compete with Ana's looks and her licks. This not either or, it's both and better together.
Horvath looks really old!
Not Ronnie's guitar, and he's playing through a Hot Rod Deluxe instead of his vintage Fender amp, putting him at a disadvantage here. Ronnie is one of the finest, most articulate Blues Jazz players anywhere and Ana certainly has plenty of chops also.
Are you kidding me!!!!🤨
omg
what kinda beautifull legs she has..As marvellous as her playing !!!
Ana's tone was thin on this clip and her phrasing seemed forced and cramped with technical play, Ronnie's phrasing and tone were spot on and better served the piece. This particular duet was a tad clunky.
You have more clunk in your trunk than any Rolling Stone critic that ever panned Hendrix, Clapton or Led Zeppelin.
Al cooper and shugi oatis
Sounds like they are playing two different songs. Sorry.😮
blueeesy
@9.40 hair raising

What do you know about Blues guitar players?.....you've listened to Stevie Vaughan on the radio? Lol
Cicliste C, I've been on Facebook a while now and I am for certain that your post was the most ignorant I've seen? Do you play any music at all? If you don't like hard Imporv, change the channel. When white folks play the blues....outside of Memphis!
Too many drinks............
I think Ronnie just got handed his lunch.
Sure did, Anna can bring it.
She's amazing. Not quite Bonamassa... but who on this earth is?
I saw her and Bonamassa both at the same blues fest years apart and they both killed. She actually had a better show than he did although I wouldn't say she's a better player. He's just unreal. Love em both.
Awesome! Must have been something to see.
I want to see her when not performing next to Ronnie. Some incongruity that detracts from both performers seems evident.
He have lost it. Just rambling. Time goes by, time for everyone and or not.
zzzzzzzzzz
I thought the guy was a bit of a stage hog, could had let her sing without having to sing over his riffs..
She blows him away.. more natural.. don't know who this guy is but he's stiff and it sounds forced.
