I think this is overall easier for a new player because much less chance of falling for long because of added structures, and new structures dont make the original much harder

idk, this may actually be easier. the car is a straight up net for the ice mountain, he added multiple things you can grab on, and yes, the rocks count too. (but i think they dont have friction)
is it me or does the gravity feel a little scuffed ? i mean easier because you fall slower and i feel like these added things just make things easier for newcomers
