But I always knew this was amongst Stanley's greatest efforts and am glad after almost 40 years from the first time I played my brand new Best Of The Solo Albums cassette tape that someone else thought so too and took time to record their take of the song

Fantastic cover. Ironic in that I’m a big KISS fan who recently listened to Paul’s underrated solo album and also discovered Lucifer fairly recently. Great job. I can tell this band has all these great 70’s influences, a plus in my book.

Johanna's voice reminds me so much of Jinx Dawson of Coven. What a great cover.
except Johanna's voice is far better than Jinx. Coven was so overrated. If they didn't have the Satanic gimmick, they would be forgotten by everyone. They barely lasted a few years because they weren't very good at anything.

Why wasn't this included on the North American version of the album as well?
It was Japan only. It's very common that Japan gets extra bonus material of bands on top off the regular worldwide album.
I recommend seeking out the original.
