First story: woman assaulted one of our employees, the next time she came we told her that assaulting our employees isn‘t cool, so we‘ll only serve her one last time but didn‘t have the balls to actually ban her from the restaurant. Where‘s the malicious compliance? Aren‘t they just rolling over and letting her walk all over them?

About the first story of the McDonald Karen, it’s exactly that way any Karens should be dealt. They should be warned that their behavior is not acceptable, they will be expelled if they showed up another time and the police will be called if they come back.

I once bypassed a sign in Japan for a quick picture of an awesome view in Yokohama Japan i was half way over the barricade, i stepped over it as Im a big tall guy and then my Japanese friend read the sign to me. "Danger do not enter" i knew that much as i understand a little Japanese. I saw the pavers piled up and figured a quick picture wouldn't hurt. Then my friend read the rest of the sign. "Killer Bees". I froze hopped back over the barricade and went without the picture. It helps to be able to read.

Should have treated the pool with a dye that turns everything bright green on exposure to sunlight. A friend of mine from college days did this to prevent trespassers from using his pool when they went on vacation. He used to work for a large chemicals manufacturing company and we joked at the time about marketting it, this was in the 1970s.

If they rip the bags open, I will make them re-bag it all. I've had it happen twice. I do not lift a finger to re-bag them, I didn't un-bag them. It's happened twice. I don't know if it's the same everywhere else, but at my Wal-Mart it's very simple. If you have items that are NOT in a bag, the receipt checker is going to stop you. If you don't want to be stopped, put your items in a bag (if you can). If you have items that are too big for a bag, just accept that they need to verify you paid for them.

Not reading signs is just as bad as in retail when customers don't read the sale tags. I'm a cashier and where I work we have buy one get one free and buy get one 50% off sales all the time. You wouldn't believe how many times customers come up to me for checkout with a single item and tell me that it is 50% off. And when you tell them it is buy one get the second one 50% off, they tell you that it's not what the sign says and you tell them yes it is. All their eyes see is the 50% off on the tag and don't read the rest of it. And of course then they don't want it and I have to call the manager over to void the purchase because I had already scanned it. I had two customers that did that to me just today. So the moral of the story is when you are shopping and something you want is on sale PLEASE READ THE WHOLE SIGN. This is on half of all the frustrated cashiers out there. Thank you.

I worked security for a hotel in ft. Lauderdale beach. In spring break, I was assigned to watch over the pool area and only allow guest to use the pool. I had to watch the pool for 11 hours, frin noon till 10pm. It was for 3 weeks I did this. During the third week a pump for the pool broken down and a new one was ordered and would take a couple of weeks to get. The pool was closed till they new pump was installed. The kids for that week we're cool about it and so we're the other guests. We were right across the street from the beach. I also suggest the swimming pool hall of Fame(there's a lap pool and a high dive pool) but said it's a paid pool and it's not affiliated with the hotel. People thanked me for it. And the college kids were cool. This group didn't cause any problem. Wish I could say that about the first week(one group was kicked out less then 2 hours after checking in. They had three complaints about them. This group was the worst. Every day there was problems. I think in total 5 groups were kicked out) and the second group was a little better (this one had me scared with one girk went out to a club and strangers brought her back to the hotel and she was definitely given drugs because she had no cluecwhete she was and hardly able to talk. The guys that brought her there just wanted her safe. The next day she went to the closed pool and look way better. I talked to her a little saying I'm glad she's better that I was concerned for her. The night she left she talked me for being concerned for her and I got a hug from her). I'm so glad the third group was cool. I wore all black uniform and I was standing under thecsun the whole time. Luckily the manager for the restaurant told me I can get free drinks(I got coke for the caffeine) and mostly just drank the infusion water they had for the guests.

Walmart doesn't have a Membership Requirement to shop in their stores (Sam's Club is the exception) and thus you are perfectly in your right to ignore any Walmart Employee that demand's to see your Receipt and continue walking, the ONLY exception is if the Employee is Loss Prevention. If the non-Loss Prevention Employee stops you from leaving you are perfectly within your right to call the Police and Charge the Employee that stopped you with Kidnapping and/or False Imprisonment...
By Law, ONLY those store that have Membership Requirements to shop in them such as Sam's Club and Costco can demand to see your receipt as you leave and even then, they can only do that IF their Membership Terms and Conditions list that when you sign up...Both Sam's Club and Costco list that Condition in their Terms and Conditions...
