hope it works out well man, that sounds like a pretty nice gig! I like the fact that its drive thru only, that's definitely going to help with limiting the likelihood of you slinging a rock onto a car. Thinking of using the Walker on it if you get the job?
@@NewHopeCutzandLawnCare I’ll be honest I really don’t like doing places with a lot of parked vehicles and people walking around. I’m gonna give this a shot though. Will see what happens
Would definitely pursue a contract with Chick - Fil -A. The exposure of having your truck there doing work is most likely going to create a huge ROI, the people that frequent the location will see your name and reach out to you. Of all fast food type restaurants this would be the one I would pursue with intention. They keep their locations looking great too so I think you’ll be able to upsell additional services easily.
@@CBeason I didn’t want to say it the wrong way, but the clientele that frequents chick fil a is not the same that frequents McDonald’s. Add in the contract the ability to put some kind of small sign for advertising.
@@BENNHENDRICKS33 I know what saying, I wouldn’t consider a fast food place outside of chick fila.. based on reputation alone.. good idea on sign possibly..
I don’t have any restaurants but if I had a restaurant to cut my pick would definitely be chic fil a, I don’t think you can go wrong there, just my opinion.
I know that Chick-fil-A is different, but be careful with chain accounts like that. A really good friend of mine had all of the pop-eyes in our area. He built his entire business around it, then a new management company came in and dropped him after 10 yrs or so.
Good point Tank, I’ll be honest I really don’t like dealing with places with a bunch of cars coming in and out. Figured this is a unique opportunity though..
Got started in lawncare work in 98. Worked for a guy that mainly had commercial gas station accounts. Definitely had to watch our backs for cars while on those lots. We stayed wkly on this those year round. End of November til the beginning of March we would blow off the parking lots and pick up trash. Probably different with Chick-fil-A because their employees will sweep up trash on the asphalt. Do most commercial clients require a special insurance? I've never personally had a commercial account but am thinking about breaking into it. It's been so difficult getting quality lawncare clients up here in North middle Tennessee that I've been thinking about going the commercial route.
My wife has been at waffle House forever and we started a Lawn Care a couple of years ago and this year she got me in to do the Lawn Care and it went to crap real quick. It was 9 places spread over 50 miles and they were one set price for every unit. Some of them were so filthy it took 20 minutes picking up garbage some had needles out back and then it took us an entire day to do all 9. I knew when I was the 4th Lawn Care company this year it probably wasn't going to work. I did it once and ut wasn't for me.
If you work on Sundays, no one is there...if their corporate office and the owner is anything like their customer service, it should be s good contract...
Looks like a really good job Chad. I don't have a restaurant like that, but do my commercials on the weekend as they have high traffic flow during the week. Don't want to damage cars etc. Cheers Mate. PS what is the spray "set" time for the yards you spray? 👍😎🦘
@@brianwelsh-primecutslawnca4364thanks Brian! Usually around an hour for the chemicals to set into the weeds. The preemergent doesn’t matter. It needs watered in after spraying..

My buddy cuts all the chick filets in Macon Ga. Great contract. Just lots of bushes at his.
My son does 3 different Bob Evan’s locations in our area. The mows are not bad but the trash is a real pain.
Yeah Melvin I’m hoping trash wouldn’t be a problem there
