    Good demo for the guitar, I like how you show the sound of the guitar with power chords, not just the same boring blues riffs everyone does (don't get me wrong, I like the blues, but I hate when it's the only thing used on demos) both clean & dirty, the fuzz was pretty cool and that sound at the end was awesome!!

    If you’re thinking about buying a Squier Jaguar... don’t hesitate. Do it. After playing guitar for 40 yrs I had no interest in a Jaguar. Then found my way to a Squier contemporary Jaguar last year (with humbuckers) and absolutely love it. Now I’ve bought a 70’s Squier Jaguar and loveinf that too. The Jag is a very versatile guitar. It’s a nice change from the standard strats, teles etc. The Squier build quality is exceptional.

      @@brandonhamilton370 the HH is excellent and Fender Aust (not sure where you are) had / has 40% off in the Black Friday sale. The only thing I’d say is it’s not a traditional jag. I have both and a Vintera jag. The HH especially at 40% off is an incredible buy. Build quality is out of this world. Versatility on the pickups and switching options is awesome. And the roasted neck is beautiful (but quite chunky, which I’m used to but is not to everyone’s taste)

    • @brandonhamilton370
      @brandonhamilton370 2 года назад

      @@davidharding200 hey thanks for the reply and direction. I’m in Toronto Canada and don’t have a sale going on for Black Friday, right now there’s only 20$ off the usual price. Hh going for 649$ and ss going for 629$. Pretty much the same thing. I have a Squier strat sss which was my first guitar and I’m not sure how different the ss jag pickups would be from that. I’m not a fan of a neck that’s too chunky but again that depends on the weight n feel of the body n how balanced it all feels.

    Looks KILLER! i'm weighing this against a player series jaguar. There's a lot to like about the squier!
    ...But. The single coils! You seem to be into high gain stuff. Doesn't the hum bother you? Is there a hum cancelling position, like there (are 2) in a Strat?
    Is the cool vibe of the squier worth losing a humbucker? Or is there a classic "jag tone" that is lost when you take out the stock bridge single coil p/up?
    I don't know any of this. I've never had the pleasure of playing one, not even at a guitar store, unplugged! Is there a distinct difference in tone between a jag and a jazzmaster (scale length aswell as different pickups) ? Your video leads me to think you might be able to answer all these jag questions at once. It'd be great if you can!
    Thanks mate. I hope your answers enable me to buy this black squier jag - it really does look so Killer...

      I bought a Fender Player series Jag. Used to oen a Squier VM Jag. Of this new CV has similar build quality to the Vintage Modified series (Both made in Indonesia). I’d rather invest a bit more to get the Player series Jag. Love it to bits. No issues with sharp frets (seems like a first batch issue). And the splittable humbucker in the bridge offers some nice added variations to the 2 single cool option

      DB Jetpacks The KC Jaguar is much better quality, classic player is pretty similar to the Squier but maybe a little more heavy. I guess it depends how much you like block inlays. Thomas Morgan The Alinco in the classic vibe is Alinco 3 which is why they may seem a little weak. I’d go with Seymour Duncan Hot Jaguar pickups or the Fender v-mod Jaguar pickups. Both of those are Alinco 5.

    Hi, what do you think it’s better to do for improving the tuning, change the nut?tuners?

    • @LordFuzzman
      @LordFuzzman  5 лет назад +1

      ang thekeys - Hi, the nut doesn’t need changing it just needs filing down in places so that when you press the strings down on the first couple of frets it doesn’t send the note sharp. I changed the tuners on mine to Gotoh vintage Sd 91’s. They look identical but make a whole world of difference to tuning stability! 👍🏻

    • @angthekeys621
      @angthekeys621 5 лет назад

      In effect when i play arpeggios with B, G, strngs free, like Bb- on first frets strings are always out of tuning, playng from 6th 7th it’s different, i’m thinking to give the squier back and upgrade to fender jaguar player series

    • @LordFuzzman
      @LordFuzzman  5 лет назад

      ang thekeys - it needs a proper set up on the nut that’s all. If you are not confident doing it yourself any guitar could do this easily! 👍🏻 This is very common on cheap guitars
