It’s actually very unsafe to put you hand down your throat. It can clog the food more and make it impossible to go down. While it did help you, it’s better to go where there is an edge and push down on it as if someone is pushing up on you. But at least you’re ok now.

But since ppl in this video did nothing was either they don't want to be involved or don't have any first aid experience. The reason she made sure that the boy was fine and waited for the doctors to come was because, ( i assume she has a first aid certificate) when as soon she jumped into help she can't just leave out of nowhere because she is already involved. If she does she will get her Certificate evoked. This may be completely different depending on where you people live. But this is how it usually goes in Australia

My daughters father- in - law was choking on a piece of beef off his Sunday dinner and no one knew how to do this amazing life saving manoeuvre and unfortunately he died of silent choking so sad .this young man was very lucky this lady was there that day !
This woman was so kind hearted and brave to save this young teenager boy. It shows that she is very caring towards him because the teen was fine after that.
I'm just surprised that no one present in that store(except for that lady)even took a glance at the boy's situation, instead they we're busy with their own work like there was no one nearby on the verge of death at all
