      i used buttercream, but you can you ganache, whipped cream...

    In your description, you mentioned not to eat the sugar sheet, can you explain the reason behind for not eating the sugar sheet?

      you can eat it if you want but its a sheet of sugar , it's more for decoration

    What happen to the first cake you did? The cake you put the sugarsheet on is totally different.

      Not the same Cake the tutorial cake was much higher ... I guess it didn't fit the sugar wrap and you started over?

      @@melfromnz7850 the white part was trimmed of the bottom as well.
      They are good jobs I'm just wondering why the switcheroo in some of your videos and here's where it's odd
      The first cake to me before the design are prettier and the crumb coat is fine and then when you got to a thick layers of buttercream on top of it the next scene the cake looks like it has an odd crumb coat then cut to next scene almost done.
      Who ever is teaching you editing is not doing you any services.
      If you making multiples (I'm praying that's the issue) be consistent.
      A cake cat go from 19 stripes to 14 without someone an ARTIST noticing.

      i used buttercream, but you can use ganache, whipped cream it doesn't really matter. :)

      technicaly you can eat it, because it's a sheet of sugar. But in my opinion, it's more for the looks. :)

      the glucose is very sticky not sure if it would work but i dont see why it wouldnt

      it will be way to hard , you wont be able to bend it , it will break

    It seems like a long job to colour the sugar. Could you not colour the glucose and add to the sugar?

      Jackie Harris I guess you could do that but you would have to heat it up because glucose syrup is extremely sticky. Have never tried but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work
