I like Cody Williams a lot. I have him in my 2nd tier of prospects atm between 5-8.
If it comes down to Cody or Salaun at 8 for my Spurs I prefer Tidjane Salaun. I just feel that the Spurs could turn that kid into a monster.
@@Tain950 funny, I lie Salaun slightly more than Cody Williams in that same tier though
@@Tain950 Oh yeah and being that this post is 3 months old, it's more like 5th-lottery not 8th anymore.
The Bulls would be where Cody Williams fits the best!! Coby and Cody in the back court would be dynamic!!!!!
As a grizzlies fan I want either Clingan from Connecticut or Knecht from Tennessee. Seeing him go in the pick around what Memphis would have.
Sarr is the worst fit for the Pistons with Duren 😂 Risacher is perfect, but there's nothing wrong with drafting Cody as a playmaking stretch four.
See you in okc buddy
Put hm with his brother OKC needs a wing he would be an upgrade from Giddey forsure
Rafael, did you hear Carmelo's recent comments about the one and done kids not being physically ready for the league?
Yes. He’s spot on.
How often does a star brother have a sibling become better??
I can't name 1 legit star whose brother is far better, or its slipped my mind.
Cody Williams just from that has an increased odds in my mind of becoming a bust.
He's that Brandon Miller type prospect who will likely interest teams after Brandon Miller success so far which often happens.
Brandon Miller had doubters, people saw some bust potential given how adament Hornets were over Scoot, his NCAA tournament struggles, off court issues (Although he dropped 40 points game after that situation).
I don't think Cody Williams anywhere near the shooter Miller was who was an elite shooter on high volume, not pure shooter, not as smooth a player but decent, not as natural a scorer as Miller.
Brandon Miller also had an edge to him and he's got a great understanding of his own game, his skillset, athleticism.
I saw the same thing with Jalen Williams, who knew what he was, very confident.
Cody isn't as confident in his game, nor as filled out.
Cody for sure that younger brother who tagged along who grew bigger and has that great potential.
However this ain't Lonzo, Lamelo situation.
He's a mim Brandon Miller imo.
No way not even close.
Cody reminds me of Caris Levert but he's being overrated.
Not a bad comparison, and I like Cody Williams, but he's overrated just like you say... I have him up there, but not top 3 or anything. What's your top 30 atm?

Wooooow. I'm not feeling alot of those picks but this is the my opinion draft with no real concensus
@@norrinradd542 Topic going number one??
Cody might not even be a lottery pick lmao
Is this the weakest draft of the 21st century?
Quite possibly
@@LockedOnNBABigBoardI think the issue is the strength of this draft is in its big men, and the game is played on the perimeter now.
only casuals think this
@@mikejones9906 Risacher, Salaun, Williams, Holland, Walter, Knecht, Furphy, Klintman are all perimeter and the draft is loaded with guards like Catle, Collier, Carrington, Topic, McCain, Nunez, Sheppard, Dillingham
@@robitaillecopeland1996 The problem is there isn't any guards of wings with the exception of Rob that can handle the ball, make plays and score on all 3 levels.
