Definitely would love to see the villain line up of Secret Wars. Great choices for the heroes too. Hopefully we may get the SW2 Beyonder in the white jump suit, but that may be a stretch. BTW I'm not a fan but always did like old Scott Summers too. His character was a good leader with tough choices. Awesome video.

I loved when Wolverine had spoken down to Cap because even though I like Cap I get sick of people kissing his butt. It was refreshing to see my favorite character insult him like that and was ready to fight him if necessary

Hasbro actually DID make a tiny Secret Wars green and purple Wasp, but it was in the Marvel Universe 3.75 line. It came in a pack with Doctor Doom and Absorbing Man. Great video! I'd love to see you make one for the villains too. The 80s are probably my favorite Marvel era overall.

The villians, alternate costumes, and the follow up costumes from the stories in the year afterwards cause I know they switched like Spider-Man after he got rid of the symbiote suit briefly used the bombastic bagman suit and updated his red and blue suit a few times within a few months and got a new cloth black costume and ofc iron man is improving his armors and I think captain America changed to us agent unless that was the 90’s and the FF went back to blue and black while the X-men went to their astonishing phase

if marvel legends came out in 1984, we wouldn't be too sensitive. to how they are made. we appreciated toys more back then. and its art. but the secret wars figure we got. was awesome. we gen x had better imagination. with toys. and knew as we get older adult toys would be tools to fix things. any ways. we appreciate the past. toys and present toys equally there are no such thing as advance toys. that is not what toys collecting is about. but i had a lot of fun with the 1984 secret wars. the 80s was the best decade for toys.

I have friend that makes Marvel characters using 80s/90s GIJOE parts- so far he's made Wolverine, US Agent, Moon Knight, and Elektra, hopefully more on the way soon.

I just got to say this Deadpool really should be in line up😅 I know it's the original 1984 line up but deadpool secret wars is a must read especially when it came to the symbiote suite(AKA venom) and the Hulk holding up the mountain part 🤣🤣😂🤣😂👏🏽

I recently started to collect Marvel Legends figures, four weeks ago and I have now about 50 figs 😅 I'm focus on the Bronze Age era (1970 extended to 89).

I think they actually did a Secret Wars Wasp, but she was in the Marvel Universe line as a mini accessory, though I think since she's meant to be tiny when flying she works perfectly with Legends!

I didn't really start Collecting Action Figures until 1994, but I did get, and still have about 4 of the old Secret Wars Figures. In 1984 I was manager of a San Diego Comic Store, and opened my own Store a couple of years later.

A little tidbit: Hasbro did another version of the 80th iron man body in the Mr Hyde BAF wave as AIron Man. It's the same figure, but the gold is a bright yellow like the Mafex
But it has that blue chest repulser - automatic disqualification

@@CarbonScoring also got the toybiz nightcrawler with the toe joints you mentioned, but the root of the tail is a bit broken. It's a score because this location doesnt really have good stuff the majority of the times i go. The black spiderman is missing the back logo but i still love it displayed with my marvel kenners

My favourite Hulk figure will always be the 80 years 2 Pack with Wolverine one. The one from last year was fine I guess but nothing will top the classicness & perfection that was the 80 years one.
Mike Zeck art has always been great. Whatever ya want..a cartoony design, nailed it..a serious & detailed design, nailed that too.
The original Secret Wars comics & figures are a favorite of mine. 👍🏼

Hasbro has been doing cyclops dirty. How is it that most of his most memorable costumes have been in store exclusive waves, limited releases, online exclusives, multi-packs, it’s just bull that it’s been so hard to get him here in Canada. I had to give up and just get astonishing xmen cyclops but at least I do like that costume too.

Great video man, love secret wars, I have to ask tho, I’m following this guide for my own secret wars display, the Mafex iron man is very pricy should I get the 80th Anniversary or do you have another option?
You can go with the one that is the same as the 59th anniversary but is more in comic colors - the one that has a blue chest relpulsor - that is the only drawback to that figure

Might just be me but when i look at my sky cycle pack hawkeye his face kind looks like cillian murphy
liked it but wish rouges and wasps head didnt look like they were insane
Rogue is a new head, but, yeah, some of those old ToyBiz heads were pretty intense, but that is what I love about them!

unrelated but I find it odd how there hasn't really been a 60s/70s jack kirby style captain america figure what with the blocky proportions and such, maybe there has but afaik the closest thing we have are those DC direct new gods figures from way back when
Agree - there was a Marvel Select that came close, but of course it doesn’t scale with Legends
Do you think the MCU secret wars movie will mimic the comic book cover even though it’s going to be based on the 2015 one when it comes to the story although I wouldn’t really emphasize the fact that it is a Multiversal movie also, who are you hoping from the non-MCU marvel movie shows up in Secret Wars, the most The two I want the most in the two that I think most people want the most are Raimi Spider-Man, and Fox Wolverine
