This is my fav product as a beginner. Hate the applicator but other than that 10/10. I bought three shades and ironically all three of them work it just depends on the time of year for me. And of course once you have other products on if it’s a little too dark it balances out just fine. Love it so much!
Yes exactly! I really feel like the other shade I was eyeing could’ve worked just as well. It’s blends so well. Now I just add a little bit more bronzer and it works out.
Gurllll I have the same skin shade as yours and I just found you today after the Rimmel foundation video. I think I'm gonna get this coz of your excitement. I wanna feel this excitement for my skin too lol.. Luv ya ❤️
Gurlll the finish is so nice. I used it again in my last video and added some notes and it’s just so nice seriously. Between the Rimmel and the Maybelline yeah you’re making the right choice. Love ❤️
@@MimineVersailles my bad I have only the UK version here. And I was so overwhelmed at the store I came home and am trying to find the UK shade number 😂
I think I did the same like 3 times at my drugstore 😂 I tried looking it up for you and omg the shade selection seems questionable honestly. I saw maybe 48 would work but only because 60 seems too dark. ask the person at the counter. hope this helps.
You can get away with applying way less than you did there. A little goes a long way. I think that's why you thought it felt strange when you applied it.
Yes thanks! I use less than that time in the video and already see a difference. I’ll use even less and see how it goes. 😊
@@MimineVersailles I only bought it the other day, I'm a bit late to the party, but it's a fantastic product, I love it so much, it gives amazing coverage and looks undetectable. Even on the back of my hands and it doesn't transfer. The thing I found with it is that a little goes a long way BUT it also dries very fast as the alcohol evaporates. So the way I apply it (I've seen someone else do it this way as well) is I put a few drops (like only 2 or 3) on a makeshift palette (plastic lid, easy to wash) and then I dab the brush in it and get it on the bristles and swish it around so it's all evenly distributed on the brush, and then I apply it to my face where needed and keep repeating that as many times as I need to build up. The coverage is really strong for a little amount so no point in wasting it, and you can just apply more with the brush to only the difficult areas which need more coverage for a full coverage effect without having to use loads all over. I only thought to mention it to you here because you were saying it was sitting on top of the skin and not melting in and it took a while for it to dry-down and then you saw the beautiful skin-like effect and I was thinking hang on what's the go, it must be because she used it too thick and it took ages to dry completely. Normally it dries down in less than a minute, it's fast. And you still get the skin-like glow no matter how much you use. It's extremely buildable. Anyway, GL. Hugs.
Ahh yes I know that technique it’s nice but I prefer to put it directly on my skin. Honestly I think the dropper is setting me up for failure and making me use more than I usually do. I don’t use that much with any of my other foundations or skin tint. I’ll just be more careful with that dropper and use less. Hugs xx
